  1. The whole thing feels like a journey from collecting parts to understanding the process. It's not a simple drop it off and pick it up so I'd say the experience of the process is just as important as the final result. I've learnt so much along the way it was worth it for the experience. The from starting it up you notice the difference. It sounds deeper, and has a whistle to the whole rev range. Most NA owners want a few more bhp, but this is seriously the nuts. Not had too much of an issue with traction but I've not pushed it seriously hard because of the weather. The main thing I've noticed is that it pulls hard in ALL gears and not just second. You forget what gear your in as each gear has so much pull. When Ryan took me for a road test in it first and it made me smile I can tell you! The cost to do a conversion isn't low and if your considering it then add £1,500 onto your budget and there will always be stuff you haven't account for or things you can prepare for. I had a caliper problem for example!
  2. Bran new, I'm using a 3" as I can't run a 4" pipe past my dizzy. £40 delivered, good for most applications. I'll post pictures of this later tonight.
  3. Yup, 100%. To be fair I'd report him to his mother that's pretty aweful behavior I bet she'd kick him into shape whoever he is!
  4. No mate, I collected it from garage.. 2 minutes and i mean 2 minutes later on way to tuning garage. Bad times!!
  5. Someone drove into mine and now it need's replacing Any condition considered. EDIT: I have a laser cut peice in my bumper and will go with the re-spray route as I would like to keep this, so it will need fibreglassing anyway, so colour is now not important.
  6. yea very happy, need to get the misfire sorted then Ryan reckons I'm good for 400. Your car at SRR with Ryan? Think I saw it
  7. I expect it looked like mayhem all those random bits in the back of my car lol I'm surprised I fit it all in with my sub but a bets a bet and I won Ran into a few problems and ended up bringing some bits home - air filter / wrong distributor cap but all is running just a few niggles and she's be running sweet

Nice to see your car mate. It's a clean example. What colour is the paint? Combination of the kit goes well plus it was clean Haven't cleaned mine for ages and needing a new rear bumper I don't think I will. How was the cruise last night did you stay late?
  9. Using water will help for a safer tune as well. If you want to inject more meth I think increasing the 50/50 mix or even 60/40 while increasing the total amount would be the best idea. Whats the point in having water/meth injection and not taking advantage of that safe guard of water cooling the fuel. 100% meth wil make more power, but is the percentage increase worth the wear and tear? What kit have you got mate
  10. Thanks for a nice comments guys. The dyno video didn't come out very well as we were trying different runs and I didn't catch the best one. I'll chuck the gopro on later and find a few nice straights. I'm getting compressor surge for sure though, it sounds nice but it's probably gonna wear my turbo. Got to fit my wing covers later and give the bay a clean up, il grab some pics
  11. lol Thats awesome. Made me laugh!
  12. Results here guys: 372.6bhp - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?259959-NA-T-the-results&p=3271231#post3271231
  13. Hi all, first I just want to thank Paul for keeping constant contact with me throughout the build and helping resolve any issues as best as possible. Ryan was a star, and has given me some good advice to improve the figures. Sadly I've an issue with my HT leads and I'm missing slightly. Due to ignition problems I'm slightly behind the target I aimed for, and my boost controller also doesn't work, so a stuck at 7psi for now. Will be ordering HT leads as soon as I find some decent uprated ones. Want to thanks all the guys on here who has helped me learn and find components required to get me this far. A few simple tweaks and I'm sure my build will be complete. Jekyl has been a great help from the start, from selling components with good communication to being at the end of the phone when I've run into problems. I appoligise for all the beginner questions I've asked people and anonyed you guys with but you've all been a great help
  14. you need a TT lump mate dont worry about the colour is looks nice as it is
  15. I'll have a set of JSpec front brakes soon for sale, discs, pads and calipers.
  16. That combination with Do-Luck front archs mmmmmmmm sexy. Though I think the nur archs are wider.
  17. :O I stand corrected mate. I was purely going on what I had read regarding information on the smaller diff. I shall delete this information from my brain
  18. The SZ-R has the 6 speed with the smaller diff as well don't forget, going single would require this to be uprated.
  19. Nice motor. Hope your get your sale and come to the dark side
  20. Ok mate, will probably be on the weekend if that helps.
  21. List updated. 24 hours from now I should be on the dyno. Fingers crossed all goes to plan and get there with no issues.
  22. Whats the specification for the Vxr, the NA is a nippy motor but isn't up to turbo speeds of modern engines.
  23. You could buy a copy one from ebay if you want to save the pennies.
  24. That looks like a nice example. Good millage though you can never be sure on imports. Aside from the brace the engine looks like it's been fairly left alone which is a good sign for an NA. I would get an RAC inspection and HPI check
