  1. Going from auto to 6speed is going to cost a wedge let alone going to 750hp. Could you not go single and stay with auto, then see if you could upgrade the transmission, and possibly increase the horses to a higher boost as required. if your running bpu would 500-600hp'ish not get the ball rolling and allow room for transmission upgrades. OR just swap everything out thats required and be laughing all the way to the fuel station
  2. That's answered that question, it's not a HKS manifold so don't buy it if its being sold as something it's not.
  3. Thats a bit of good news that puts a smile on everyones face
  4. Maybe he wants to buy this and repair it as it will cheaper. Only problem is if you have 1 broken weld, will it happen again? Man hours to keep repairing it might make it more expensive. If it would be a single weld and no more problems I reckon it would be a winner.
  5. So.... thought I'd update this with a few little bits I'd been doing. Over the weekend I started to clean my bay up, it look's shocking and I've been rather embarresed to show people but it's starting to tidy up nicely. Im looking into getting the intake anadised with a spare one. This weekend was inspired by rippedfear and his painted ignitor Trying different painting techniques so I played around with the bracket. I think it looks alright, though I may do it a different colour.
  6. Hi all, I've a few friends with modified motors and apparently there is a large meet down in plymouth on the 21st Saturday January. Not much going on at the moment so thought I'd join a few friends with seriously tasty audi's who are going. It's a street sylers event yes I know, but has alot of interest already so think I'll pop down as might be some tasty motors, and be a chance to grab some new pics to start 2012. Be good to see some friendly faces from the club. Facebook Event: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150455396116227.360247.501791226&type=1#!/events/312213305468709/
  7. Valve that remains closed to enable low down torque. DavidP knows about this as he removed his so im sure he would know about cleaning it. But my first protocol would be a god service then dyno.
  8. How much for the Y section of the intake?
  9. Good info. Maybe worth getting a spare intake and giving it ago?
  10. Guys and gals, I've been making a design for a flash animation for an advert for mitchell, he can't play flash files seperately and is his PC won't play them even with software. Photobucket doesn't accept .swf file type uploads with the free acount, anyone know of any servers where I can upload the file to show him? Explorer doesn't use the correct dimensions of the file, so it is SUPER wide if you use the adobe flash plug in, and just drop the file into IE. Ideas please Thanks
  11. Can you anadise the NA intake? Im unsure the material, I think its an alloy as its light, but not 100%. As its a casting, would it even work? Ideas appreciated
  12. I know someone selling HID kits for £40 posted. not sure on warrenty, im ordering a kit myself.
  13. what SLR do you have scott
  14. Thanks mate She's all dirty now as are most supra's due to the rubbish weather. Im sure if u IT'S YOU NOZ...CARRY ON get a second hand one you could grab up a decent camera. Il admit sometimes the fisheye doesn't always take the clean shots I want, I try and use a standard camera as well. Save up for an SLR you won't regret it, thats what Im doing. save save
  15. If you can get a nice GoPro, the still shots are amazing with the fisheye lense. This has been reduced in size: http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/399377_2323573263385_1671232824_1537612_445124148_n.jpg Should be able to pick a 2nd hand one up for 150ish I would of thought.
  16. Thats lush mate, bet your looking forward to those. I'm not fully up to scratch with the procedure, is it going to be done on the same material on the alloy, I supposed it would have to be done on a two or three peice rim? I've one peice wheels and considering a refurb, but would like a nice polished rim, considering my options. Does it have to be a particular grade of alloy?
  17. The anadised bronze dish should look nice, look forward to seeing them. I'm all for custom work.
  18. Those honda seats look nice. Not overly sure about the harnesses as well, but the seats are a good look.
  19. Did u dyno it before you upped the boost? Tt is 9psi isnt it. not sure if thsts an accurate comparison. I can beleive its more though as when bpu they are both so similair.
  20. Cool dude. list ur set up for meth :-)
  21. I've got a storm force cover for mine. Hardly ever use it. used it once I beleive, can't even remember what I paid for it.
  22. Afternoon all. Travelling to this lovely location for a night out for my mates birthday. Think I have a hotel sorted, but thought I'd see what you guys thought.. Load of guys going, probably going to take my lady so no strip clubs I'm afraid. Wondering what places are good to go out to, decent large night clubs will probably be on the cards (he likes that kinda thing bless him). Are there many local attractions? I'd like to maybe do something the same day or maybe sunday (depending on how everyone is feeling) as I don't often drive about that way. Thanks for advice guys, sure some of you have some experience with this
  23. Should look good mate. Im thinking of going down the trial rear route myself.
  24. mate it doesnt look cheap or tacky. it just doesnt please the eye because its slightly too big. if it were smaller there wouldn't be any issue IMO. the ignitor looks nice black. good move.
  25. Im not taken on that sticker being on the ignitor mate. It also gets pretty hot. I love your bay, I think the bay is looking sweet, but I don't think that suits. Not knocking it, as I like the sticker, its a 3D one I assume? I think it would be better suited to the dash maybe...?
