  1. Even future motors do a budget stroker build. Its worth speaking to your desired builder and getting a price. Still think easiest option is to rebuild yours. Think your assuming cylinder walls are toast because of compression and it might just be the rings. I'd get a boroscope in there before anything else.
  2. I'd rebuild. May not need to over size pistons. Doubt you'd know for sure until its apart. I'd not trust a block sitting around. No idea if it's been stored correctly.
  3. Good to know. Wonder if they're all stiff due to having to be to sight. That one looks the nuts I'll admit. I might got with a fixed one until I can put funds towards something like this. Rather than buy twice.
  4. You'll get there mate! Keep at it. Most NA owners have had this issue at some point. That blood ignition system hasn't aged well. Maybe check the earth's around the ignition components.
  5. I have to find my steering wheel boss for my new wheel. Anyone recommend a removable one? I've always wanted one. But just never gotten around to it. I have lots of dash work to do, so it would definitely be useful.
  6. Lovely job that. Did you get many quotes? Mine needs doing too (momo)
  7. Top work mate. Loving the seats too. Very jealous there.
  8. Such a nice setup mate. The coating offer any UV protection for the lenses?
  9. Yes mate. No car park or ramp stops me now. Never an issue. And my cars fairly low. The exhaust also used to catch. For the sake of a grand and never being stranded or worried about driving anywhere its such a relief! You can always just buy the front but my exhaust is quite low due to its diameter I'm unable to tuck it in under the car very well.
  10. I can recommend aircups if you do lower it and want peace of mind with ramps and car parks.
  11. Good advice. Sounds a lot of work. I'd leave it. Didnt take mine apart when I done them. Also smoothed the horrible feature line on the top of the mirror body.
  12. Allow you to install an s6 ecu

    BGW Options

All the ones I've seen that have dedicated boot mounts near the holes usually use the holes. I'm sure you can use them. Spoilers with brackets in the central part of the boot look out of place I always think. The voltex wing is my favourite but daaaamn it's expensive.
  14. Bugger me. What a chain of events. I'd get it sorted like you said. Better happens close to home too

    BGW Options

I think you mean utilise the stock hole locations. Rather than cover them.
  16. Very nice. What hp goals you aiming for
  17. Just paint the panels on the car I would. Pearls mis match otherwise. I'm doing sides of my again!
  18. Imagine if US funded the research! Which seems likely really given the lab close by.
  19. The take away from this. Is post more videos. I like them.
  20. Have to say goodbye to the old sequential setup I guess if big twins. Keeps it a show car I suppose rather than just going single.
