  1. Your be loving it if you go with the Reading lot. There were loads of Supras Very jealous if you meet up with them. Southwest lot will be waiting at Bristol as always
  2. Awesome news mate. Does this mean your going to knock more walls down?

    Hello from Devon

Welcome dude Nice motor. Think I've seen your motor about Plymouth. So many different combinations that go well with the supra, just have to check out the garage and see if any take your fancy.
  4. Just intercooling piping? I would of thought that being able to tidy the bay from all the manifold, get to the spark plugs and reduce intake temp's would of been better than saving a bit of piping work Just look at flow testing on manifolds, Im sure it's a process Google would be able to help you out with. Chris Wilson would DEFINITELY be able to point you in the right direction but have a good look around first as you may find the answer without bugging the wise man. You going to remove the Dizzy as well? Have you got another steering res to relocate it?
  5. Custom cam's at 264 will be welded I reckon. Re grinds just aren't rated. Jamie, I would still get it flow tested if possible just so this is a technical decision and not purely on the cool factor The cylinders would be equally pressurized otherwise Toyota would of included the same design for the TT as they done for the NA. Still worth getting it checked.
  6. I have the manual I'll have a read later. I'm struggling to find datasheet for the component. Any help on what the component is? Can't find anything for component listed as 83603 or 8360.

    Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

Yes mate I was, why u ask?
  8. 700+ bhp with stock ECU (must be running a piggy back) and still using the Dizzy. That blows out most comments about NA components being rubbish!!! Thats awesome. Wonder how he got that much power on stock cam's, maybe he got regrinds or hardwelded them? Would of had to modify stock GE cams for sure if still running that Dizzy. Will read that thread later to check it. A great build!

How you keep mate? Saw the status on facebook and the pics, you've not been in on there much lately. You still gonna buy a truck or gonna save for another Sup?
  10. XS power manifolds first come first serve they are running out of stock mate. You looked at relocating the steering res mate as well? I think if your going this route it would 100% be worth getting it flow tested to make sure your improving flow or at least matching it. I would think that heat soak would also be another benifit.
  11. Search your options. The money to get TT power is the same as the purchase of a TT.
  12. I need to check my TB, I can only remember seeing one cable? Though I haven't scanned it. Where would the coolant hoses go to without the OEM throttle body venting it through?
  13. You can use a gt4 st205 throttle cable for the butterfly valve movement, I am unsure about the 2nd cable as I can't say I've noticed it or even know where your on about. BarnyBrendan ran a FFIM he may be able to help you with this. Will be watching this closely as I'd like to do the same one day
  14. Going single with that much power it would definitely be better to go single. Emanage are really old now, I found out how dated my emanage is when I installed the software I was presented with something that reminded me of windows 95. upg sells refurbed AEM ECU's for 300, thats cheaper than I paid for my emanage which IS FAULTY. Definitely go standalone and with the same specification it will make more power than a piggy back.
  15. I have a heat sheild for an NA, I was tempted to clean it up and paint it and sell it on. Car's looking sick mate. Those tops really set the rest of the chrome off. It's true they say you need to go the whole nine yards with chrome and it really does work together. Looks awesome mate.
  16. take £10 delivered for wightstuff voucher yet?

You can do it cheaper than 1k for an ECU and mapping. I know someone who will supply a MegaSquirt ECU and map it for £600, and if you buy the coils you can run them straight off that and not even need CPS and ditch the dizzy IF you feel that's a limitation (good for 500whp apparently though some have had more). Lower compression is all the NA needs if you want big power. But then what TT engine doesn't need money spent on it to reach 500hp? a standard NA-T turbo will hit 500bhp, on a TT you need big twins or a single conversion. Bang for buck, BPU power is CHEAPER with a TT lump. for 500bhp NA-T is cheaper due to having all the single components already, and just requiring a slightly lower compression ratio which in LOADS of cases over the pond a 1.3mm HG has done the job just fine. I wouldn't ever recommend a new supra owner to buy an NA if they wanted boost. Purely on the fact I love manual cars and am limited buy the manual tranmission I so dearly enjoy. My new engine build would be soooooooooooooooooo much easier with a GTE lump. But to be fair........ if its easy......... what's the point? No challenge with `easy`
  18. I'm still having a misfire Ricky, do you think this could be the reason? I know the component isn't to do with the jumpers I was asking two questions buddy. I just wanted to show the item as I knew it had been played around with. I always stay plugged in due to electro-static discharge as I didn't know the circuit I thought best to stay ESD safe Any tips on where to send the unit to have this component changed? Where I used to work have the equipment but I'd rather pay somewhere top notch for the swap out. I'm still experiencing the odd miss fire I think I'm going to owe you a bag of Hario Ricky if this sorts the problem!!!
  19. I was looking at AEM kits and decided Aquamist was the better choice as they include the flow meter standard. This backs up my decision. Looks like a decent AEM official reference on the thread.

This is the XSpower intake manifold. They are selling them cheap as chips on the clubna-t forum. That inlet does look nice but it does look smaller than the TT style maifolds I've seen. I thought you were NA dan?

When you sit down and weigh up the cost of buying an NA and going NA-T, against buying a TT, then yes the cost does not weigh in the favour of the NA.... But when you already OWN an NA, the selling of your pride and joy and buying a TT doesn't seem as tempting as a turbo kit. The choice to NA-T is not... buy an NA and turbo it, it's the already-owning NA members, weighing up to sell their car and buy another OR just fit a turbo kit. Fit a kit vs sell their car doesn't make the NA-T option look expensive. If it was, people wouldn't do it
  22. Nice bay. Any more info on the specification nic?
  23. Found this photo and was wondering... why would someone use the headlight that has the most distance from the induction system as an intake? Any ideas?
