  1. Dam straight. Forced induction is the way forward. First options to get anything more than 20bhp on an NA engine should be a forced induction. Its a shame not more power can be gained from the stock NA engine, but its been tried tested and EXPENSIVE. NA engine CAN produce good power. But your need a turbo or supercharger (if your really swish). Simples
  2. Scott is right, you don't get NA brakes. I think there has been so many references to UK brakes the term NA brakes has started to get around as the smaller specification brakes.
  3. lol you got a new camera yet? really?...
  4. This photo if a bit of a blur as my mate is still getting the hang of taking photos Got the gauges all in, think I might swap my boost gauge out and use the 52mm hole for the boost controller. http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/421965_10150682067610864_766035863_11372424_1242689373_n.jpg
  5. I have horrible blue hosing eeek, not colour coded at all with the NA bay. Am trying to spray my intake at the moment with a spare one Brendan gave me (thanks mate) so hopefully have something worth showing soon. Get that sexy dizzy on show
  6. It's gonna be awesome. I always thought they would carry on. Will be awesome to see what the story line will include.
  7. Your right mate. I forgot it would be NA without boosting, I was thinking about what I'm hoping to do with boost. Silly me, the low end power would reduced.
  8. Go high compression, maybe even use meth/water if your worried about getting knock. Sorted. May even be around the 300 mark? Maybe custom cams if the new pistons are light enough raise the redline `slightly`, maybe change the rods and raise it safer? Port the head and its SERIOUSLY tiny flow holes. I want to get my ported, group buy on port & polish
  9. Lol yes, you are not in a good position to keep-up. Fingers crossed everything holds together

    Hello from Devon

Hope so mate, I was worried your brake was gonna seize when you told me what happened! Last year was my first mkivsupra.net meet, and instantly got me into the swing of things Can't wait till this year gonna be epic!
  11. One of those random abflug kits. Wheel's set it off nicely, MINT wheels hope you got a free polish Need to rent them some clear wing indicators as well.
  12. I think it's also having to face the amount of time you've spent on the car as well. If I was to sell mine, I'd have to somehow justify the amount of time and effort I'd already put into it to myself.
  13. It's a cruise, not a race. Don't worry about keeping up. No one will be left behind.
  14. Yes it does so that's true it would be 2 boost gauges my mistake
  15. Its not a gauge mate. Its a boost controller.
  16. I'm looking at this one Brendan, its £230 : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AEM-Tru-Boost-Gauge-Type-Controller-PN-30-4350-/120708956345?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c1ad080b9 I wanted this one as it seem's to include alot of features more expensive controllers have, mainly gain. I think Fosta uses it, seen a few comments and people are generally happy with it.
  17. Serious? Ask about a group buy. I reckon those would sell.

    Hello from Devon

I think blackie and karolina will be organising the times etc for the guys meeting down this way. Usually everyone meets at Tiverton and then cruises onwards and picks up various people along the way. If your down in plymouth there will be people meeting around that area and then going to exeter services. Im sure if you make contact with Brendan he will keep you up to date with any details. There was round 10 supra's I beleive from the southwest driving up to Japfest last year. Waited at bristol for the Wales lot, and then the reading convoy turned up. It was Supra heaven
  20. I've seen alot of NA owners wanting power straight away but can't afford it so save up. I would go TT if I have the option again. I could of gone single without transmission worries.
  21. That was what I was considering. A decent fabrication should can use the position of the stock runners to ensure the location of the new ones, assuming toyota placed them in similiar locations. To be honest, I never even thought about that. I'd hope they would be fine if they were located in the same way.

    Hello from Devon

Japfest will be coming soon you should come for the cruise, it's always loads of fun. Some people get a bit grumpy but most the time everyone's hugging each other
  23. Gotta get some photos of the beast when your working, I bet that's gonna be loads of fun.
  24. What do you call cheap? They are £500! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Toyota-SUPRA-2JZGE-Intake-Manifold-2JZ-GE-PLENUM-NA-/230648383717?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35b3b708e5 It would be cheaper to get TT lower runners and use a TT intake manifold compared to spending 500 big ones I reckon: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-supra-2jz-gte-2jz-ge-intake-manifold-/280820300137?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item416231b969
