  1. Replace the sill. Easier than a dodgy repair.
  2. Yup I'll take these. Pm incoming.
  3. I've been waiting since October from a US turbo supplier lol..
  4. There'll be cover up after cover up, we will likely never truly know.
  5. Youre still ranting lol and stopped keeping it civil as soon as you posted lol... I'm not bias either way. Honestly I'm not. But action is the only solution. Not ranty posts mate. Direct your anger to solving the situation legally rather than angry forum posting. Understand your frustration bud, but repeating your upset verbally is just going to make it worst for yourself and not solve anything.
  6. Because it is simple. It's not a complicated situation. Of course not saying it's without its difficulties. He has a name, number, its a start. Maybe pay for a person search. Or hire someone. Maybe even banking details. A quick Google gave me hundreds of options. Should he have too, probably not. But it is what it is. He has numbers. Regardless whether they work. Legally the phone companies would have to give up information if it went to court. Perhaps it needs to go to court to acquire the information. I'd fill out what information I had and state difficulty in tracking him down if it'd an issue. They may even suggest further action. Got to be worth a shot? Better than buying another setup. Which is insane.
  7. All replied. Soz, no idea how I missed the message. These won't fit I'm afraid.
  8. This has in my eyes and still is, a court issue. Not insurance or police. I dont understand why you're not following that path. Its always been a situation of take him to court or take the hit. I dont see any other option. But if you don't take him to court. You have nothing to complain about really? As there's a procedure for things like this and if you choose not to follow it... then, you can't really moan lol? I dont wish anything against James. And I hope you can both come to a fair arrangement. None of us wish for this situation to happen to any fellow supra owner and I do truly hope you resolve your issues. But you need to use the tools available. Which will allow a platform for both parties to resolve their differences and you can reclaim parts or costs.
  9. Not huge jobs though. Many people over size their turbos. I think your setup looks ideal for the goal. If you can afford to go more power down the line the minor cost of pipework won't be an issue. Stay your course mate! You've got a good plan set.
  10. Still makes a good read this. Any updates at all Mike?
  11. I'd stick with the 62mm for 700hp. You've spec'ed it well mate. See how that performs first I would say. New engine looks like a proper weapon.
  12. 2.5. I knew there was a 5 there somewhere! So pump gas high map would be 1.8, get you. So for an e85 high boost. Could you not use a 2.5 bar setting even though you know it'll reduce efficiency. Or is that perhaps what you do already. Because it's a consistent reduction in flow capability at higher rpm?
  13. R888s are the answer I had the same issue at 600 Car looks lovely mate Edit. @Mike2JZ I know the 6870 tops out with boost, I thought the max was 1.5 bar for some reason. Says 1.8 bar on the dyno. Did I remember wrong, or is without e85 make it a different situation, please.
  14. Seen you about on the forum for a long time mate. Be sad to see you go. Hope it's just temporary. GLWS
  15. Great, thanks mate. Because I've some electronics background I was looking for the wrong information really, over complicating things as usual! I've found a few sensors and indeed the calibration ranges with them. As always, thanks for your guidance mate!
  16. that's really mint dude, like really mint!
  17. Thanks for the quick reply mate. How do you setup the voltage for the temperature. Is there an adjustment for the range when setting the sensor up, or do you would just choose the sensor. I'm hoping the range of the sensor would just be spread over its 5v capability. I've attached a sheet I found for one. But I was unable to find a purchasing source for it online. Which led to me think surely they can't be that different. Not what I'd call a datasheet, more like a spec sheet. Guessing I'd just divide the range across its 5v. inlet-air-temperature-iat-sensors.pdf
  18. @Mike2JZ question I'm hoping you can help me with buddy. But anyone else with input is welcome. Most datasheets I'm finding for air intake sensors seems to all use 5v low side voltage to sensors but have similar resistance values for temperature readings. Are iat sensors often giving the same resistance depending on temperature. I suppose I assumed there would be different resolutions of resistance depending on sensors. Though I guessed it would only be 5v typical voltage.
  19. You ever have any pressure in your tank? I have a cap with central flap but know someone who may comment, who gets pressure. Not heard it before.
  20. Car looks mint under side. Well played.
