  1. Is this part of a bigger long term project for you?
  2. Removing that wiper hole great idea. Done this on your black one too I thought?
  3. Grear news!! Darren is sorted then. know where to come when mines dead too.
  4. Bloody hell mate didn't even last a year lol. I recall you selling. What made you think, you'd had enough, and what made you think, it's time to come back?
  5. Maybe, but that's not corroded that's actually begun to crumble. I've never seen any look mint, they all have surface corrosion but never seen one surpass the total material thickness. I know Keron had a load made, not sure if he still has any or sells them. Looks like it was the front end. Not sure if bolt hole pattern is the same front/rear. I know the rear has a slight kink in it so would need a little bit of tinkering. Link on Kerons page is to his last page. https://www.mkivsupra.net/topic/108850-extreme-performance/page/20/ If only the forum has multiple pages, sellers could use the forum as the selling platform. How cool would that be. Product listings on the forum, be so cool. Especially if they took a cut.
  6. I wonder whats caused that rear bar to corrode so much. Maybe the diffuser causing some sort of air deflection with water going into the area. Very odd
  7. Maybe there waw a limited run of 200 vent stickers
  8. Lovely build. Really nice seeing you utilise an is200. Liking that.
  9. Well done Mike. He's definitely becoming the legend of this era of ownership.
  10. I doubt they are standard. Inner liner would need modifying to take advantage of them. I'd assume they're to release positive pressure in the wheel arch, which causes drag. But that's definitely not a Toyota thing in my eyes. It just looks like a laser cut piece. Maybe some old school tuning methods and someone got excitable. From flow analysis I've completed on the stock body, a hole like that without a cut inner liner will actually make drag more worst than better.
  11. Yeah I know about the other options mate. But its quite the jump financially. I think the forum should advertise for a really low cost. And items sold through the forum have a profit share. Per sale. If the forum had a buy and sell function be easy to cap that too. Would support what sells. Only an idea. As I see soon it will be too late as less and less of us are doing that kind of work. It's all going OEM now and that will hit the forum. Turning it into a spares and repairs market place
  12. Send him all the email addresses you may have used.
  13. I agree that a financial token may stop just any monkey having a contribution. But the amount requested to what you actually receive is in my opinion a bit below expectations. Paying money for a single thread, seems a bit of a cop out personally. I do like the idea of a tier system which makes sense of course. Bit innovation and investment in new ideas from people as a collective is at an all time low in the market This may be due to prices of course. I understand that. Considering its just a few boxes and sections in a forum. Some starting out needs promoting. And paying a lump sum isn't an option when you just want to make cool stuff and be innovative. The forum, in my eyes, doesn't promote growth for hobbyist. I do think it's always had a good system to support their presence but it's no surprise both traders and smaller hobbyists don't use the forum so much these days. But I'd love to see more traders. People just other platforms. It's a users market and the forum doesn't have the pick of plenty. I sadly think unless the forum changes its stance, soon the only traders on here contributing to the forum pot will be Keron and SRD, who I'm sure will both be promoted without paid sections anyway, so will be asking themselves the same question. As a consumer I really hope things change and smaller inventors come out the woodwork. It's very exciting to hear fresh blood is doing stuff I used to enjoy doing. The love for the forum community is what made me become a hobbyist years ago. I hope one day it will do the same for others.

Cats and bypass valves are the future.
  15. You should have ordered that fuel pressure regulator I told you about with the dial instead of faffing about measuring how far the bloody fuel squirts out. If you want to boost the car, just upgrade the fuel pressure regulator now, and then its ticked off the list and crossed off as a potential root cause.
  16. The bit? You've highlighted the regulator yes. The vacuum hose is just air, going to the intake. Banjo is the return fuel.
  17. Regulator. You know I can't remember if I have my old rail. I should go and check that for you actually. I uprated all mine so i might have a regulator I can post to you. Have you taken lid off ecu. To see if caps and juicy
  18. Reis looks after many people here. Been recommending them for ages. They've looked after quite a few people now. Good prices too. They look after my NAt.
  19. Could try just wiring relay to fuel pump instead. To test if its that as an issue.
  20. Pistons are cheap. No excuse not to do them with a rod kit. Doing 1000hp on a budget is an odd sentence. Why risk it.
  21. Do it mate. Won't be disappointed. I'm going to add a y piece so it flows to a car and muffler when it's closed.
  22. I still have them, I need to build them to be honest, value of lights seems to be going up maybe I'll use them as a pension fund
  23. I've been using an Apexi exhaust control valve for nearly a decade. It looks naff using a bung, and also doesn't allow you flexibility to open it up without pulling over. Which is a bit shit, like E85. Pulling over to top up race fuel while you remove the exhaust bung At 60mph I can barely hear the exhaust when its closed. It's still loud as hell when open. I understand everyone likes to promote their own choices on their cars, but I've seen some people argue a bung is better than a valve. So many advanced cars use these, electric versions, you don't see top end manufactures handing you a bung with your exhaust. I have a straight through 4.5 inch exhaust single box, its loud. Such an improvement. Located in my midpipe. I would only recommend buying an Apexi version, and call me old fashioned but I prefer the mechanical latch rather than a switch and motor sat on the exhaust pipe. https://www.apexi-usa.com/products/apexi-ecv-exhaust-control-valve-flange-type-80mm
  24. I wonder who would fund such a kit. I know for sure I could make one. Being a model. Some of the datum points could be 3d printed for scale replication. Be a super awesome project if someone had balls big enough to fund it.
  25. 450 ish is a good fun car. Especially on single turbo. Driveability begins to get lost after that I felt.
