  1. wont it vary from wheel to wheel/offset to offset though??? (any chance of a link to the thread mate)
  2. grrrrrr! im gonna kick your ass one of these days dude! Dude ommitted to mention the paint samples that he's been promising to send me for the past 14 months, 5 minutes with them and i'll decide, (probably) But im just over the moon that dude still has the car and hasnt 'borrowed' any bits off it over the last year n a half, (it must have been tempting!) lol Does anyone have any idea how i can work out what width wheels and tyres to get, i know i want 18" veilside chrome evolutions but no idea what width will fit, (offsets etc.)
  3. pics are just off my hard disk, god knows where they came from, can email them over if you like gazboy? im well surprised at the ammount of anti spoiler support, couple of years ago you'd get shot on here for even thinking about going wingless!!!
  4. already got TRD wing, it came with the kit. Really wouldnt want to shell out even a small amount for another (stock) spoiler, got 3-4 grand worth of wheels/rubber to buy!!!
  5. unfortunately stock wing isnt an option nic, my supe never had one! So its TRD wing (as in pics) or Wingless????
  6. yeah gazboy, do another poll if you like, the more oppinions the better!!! Was also considering getting the holes drilled, then some bungs for em so i could go with or without, not sure how well this would work though...
  7. its kinda multi coloured at the moment... but all going well its going to be a nice dark metalic purple, (not far off black)
  8. Only a matter of weeks before im back on the road, (long story, some of the BBS veterans might remember...) Anyway, my supe is finally comming close to readyness, dude is working on it as we speak, (well thats his story, he's probably down the park chasing squirrels knowing him). Im not sure if the TRD widearch kit looks better with or without the spoiler though, so its up for the vote* I've attached some of my favorite TRD wing'd and TRD un-wing'd pics to help, if anyone has any good TRD kitted supe pics (with or without wing), bung em on the thread, they can only help!!! (*Bundy management reserves the right to completely ignore the results of the vote)
  9. JIC did indeed pack it up about a year ago, (or more), they were pretty good service wise, but a bit on the pricey side from what i remember. Theres some crackin cars on pauls website (wiffbits), and theres usually a couple of guys on here selling their pride and joy, if you dont mind buying privately... i got mine from motor mall in kent, they used to import/supply JIC's cars. I never had any problems, (and much cheaper than JIC).
  10. you sure theyre massive indicators? not normal sized indicators with a silver plate behind? (I quite like em...)
  11. seen worse... would definately look better without the eyebrows!
  12. definately looks like they forgot to paint the back,
  13. Thats gotta have been a nicked maserati!!! Sounds like you got well lucky there!!!!
  14. needed close up on the dials, so your pics arent quite what i need faye, but thanks for the effort!!! rogue - spot on mate, exactly what i needed, whos car is it??? its got to be twin brother to mine, which is also P'oko reg'd facelift auto TT!!! (but black, untill the kit fit/re sprey at least)
  15. Like it says up there, does anyone have a pic of the 5 dial auto dash (pre triptronic) 96-97ish, if so can you post it for me please??? (monkey mark isnt yours non trip facelift auto??? got any dash pics???)

    I'm Back!!!

i had a wiffbitz front bumper for mine and didnt see any problem with cutting a hole for the facelift sides, easyer than cutting holes in the metal wings anyway, maybe it was just personal choice of the owner at the time of the front bumper fitting... makes for an original car anyway...

    I'm Back!!!

think ive seen the odd one, and theres one going around with the facelift side repeaters on the front bumper 'and' pre facelift ones on the wings, and that just looks wierd. Maybe its had a knock in the past, and pre facelift wings are alot easyer to get hold of then the facelifts, if it has had a knock its been fixed properly judging by the pics anyway!

    I'm Back!!!

nice colour, looks like its got pre facelift front wings though, (with indicators on wings rather than front bumper), definately a steal at that price anyway!!!
  19. im in, just make sure you PM me this time clarkey!!! (and bagsy shotgun!!!!)
  20. ok, lets form an orderly que: 1)John Fisher 2)Salvatore 3)Albundy68 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) where you been brian??? did you ever get the written off supe you were after to do up???
  21. heres the article, if anyone hasnt read it, its well worth a look!!!! (CLARKEY!!!! this is the one i was on about the other week!!! ) http://mkiv.com/tmp/pulp_friction/
  22. do a search, theres zillions of threads on the above. One has a link to a really good article on exactly what effects your brake'in. Written by someone who tested/designed brakes for F1 or something. The conclusion reached by most were that brembos arent gonna stop you any more quickly than UKs in anything other than a repeated lap track situation. (Where the brembos will take alot longer to heat up and fade).
