Whenever I get a quote on the N/A's I'm looking at - Admiral, Elephant etc think that it's a twin turbo?! As it's insurance that's stopping me getting a TT, I might now be able to get away with it

What low life pieces of scum! This really pisses me off. Someone once scratched the word "cunt" into my mates MR2 when we had them parked next to each other at a pub! This pub was in the middle of nowhere and there seemed to be no reason for anyone to do it. Hope the damage isn't that expensive..!

Next time she goes through the pressures of every day life, and has a "flap" who knows who will be between her car and a wall! I'd seriously consider talking to her about surrendering her license if she was my relative... something very similar happened with my nan - it's very tough, but has to be done I'm afraid.

I just read this whole thread, having not been a member when you got going on this. I'm not a fan of body kits and changing cars in such a huge way...but one word for this....WOW! Very, very nice car. When I was deciding what I'm going to start looking for, the choice was a 300ZX or a Supe. I'm in the market for a Supe, saldy, else this would be a serious consideration. Especially being a UK manual, which I know were quite hard to come by. Good luck with the sale Josh

I wouldn't have thought so - it would have been sold if it was that cheap and you had money left to renew a lease. Even in today's market - if it's priced to sell, it will sell. This seems to have been knocking around for a while.

Very enjoyable to watch this game come to the natural conclusion it did. I thought Williams was so unlucky - so close yet so far eh? Deffinatley one of the best finals in recent history. Hilarious comment at the end where Parrot asked: "do you think this will hurt for a couple of days", Williams: "Nah, it'll be gone with three pints of Boddingtons"

If it failed to sell at 160k and you're getting it for a 140k, I'd get quotes as to extending the lease and knock this straight off what you've offered. I'm dealing with something almost identical to this at the moment. I'm simply amazed that you're at this stage and there hasn't been something worked out for you.

By the way, who told you that you couldn't purchase the freehold unless you've been there two years? I'm not certain that's correct, I will check for you.

No conveyancer in their right mind will advise you to proceed on a property with a 67 year lease unless you're getting a very good price for it and have made enquiries about it's extension etc.
