  1. Cheers mate, chav language and poor spelling are a pet hate of mine too.
  2. Sorry, just never a nice thing to see fellow members writing so much negative stuff about your car, almost feels like being ganged up on! lol
  3. Why does barge pole spring to mind? Do you know when the single conversion was carried out? It didn't come over from Japan like it, so it's not like it's not been mapped since 2003? Oh, and it's not a scam. Where abouts are the rust "issues"? Granted, it's not one of the best single turbo install's you could do, but i'm sure i've seen on the ecu register that there are some very respectable figures from members who have ran piggy backs. But yeah, not your idea of a good single install.... not really mine either, but i had planned to change things for the better until i lost my job! Yep, definitely cheap for a reason. If you notice, i do say at the start of the ad that i bought it with the intention of finishing it...... then if you look at the spec list i've put down, there's no mention of a stand alone ECU, no brake upgrade, no injector uprgrade, wheels could do with replacing/refurbing etc etc I'm sure if you want it that bad Dan we can come to some sort of arrangement
  4. Around 1:00pm today followed a Silver L Reg manual along the outer ring road in Norwich
  5. Thanks Neil, I'll do that in a little while mate. Is your gamertag exactly as you've written it? Any capitals etc?
  6. Cheers Josh, I just need to make friends with people on here then.... I thought i'd have a bash at searching for it but you can only enter 4 digits (which is the team's tag as that is a maximum of 4 digits) so without knowing that, I couldn't find it. I just whacked in SOC as a possibility and there must be a team with a tag of SOC as it sent them a join request? lol
  7. Ha ha... I'm afraid Bob is already taken
  8. Can someone tell me how to join the forums club please? Or possibly invite me to it please? Thanks guys.... Gamertag is CoMpLeTeNuTcAsE
  9. My front plate is a quite a bit smaller than standard and in the year that I've owned the car i've driven past loads of old bill in various situations and none of them have pulled me for it yet!
  10. No worries Josh, thanks for being willing to do that for me mate..... I did eventually find my owners manual, the missus well and truly hides stuff away when she tidy's up, found it in the manual thanks Josh
  11. Hi Guys, Now this may sound like a stupid question, and i apologise in advance, but my Supra is having it's MOT done at the moment and the garage has just called me to say that the ABS light on the dash doesn't come on when you start the car like it should and then go out. The problem they have though is apparently they can't even see exactly where on the dash the ABS light is??? Can someone please tell me where it normally lights up on the dash so i can call them to let them know? Thanks
  12. I had recently been pondering this one myself, got hold of all the oils ready to do it but then started to wonder if it was worth doing it before winter or after...... So i thought I'd ask the chap from Opie Oils themselves, going for a 'straight from the horses mouth' sort of thing, and he advised me to do it after winter.
  13. I honestly cannot believe this guys, proper ultra cringe worthy!
  14. In for pics of polished ally top hose and Cusco strut brace please mate
  15. Yeah I'll probably be going again, only live a couple of mins down the road from the track so no excuse really.... like you say, as long as the rain stays away
  16. I think that looks pretty darn awesome once its finished, painted and fitted on the car mate..... definitely the sort of thing I've been wanting for mine for ages now!
  17. Oh right, that's nice. I was first to enquire about them and didn't even receive a PM back???
  18. I reckon so seeing as Matt said the cut off point was 5pm
  19. Pretty much the same as you really.... Growing up I would occasionally see one somewhere and would instantly fall in love with the shape and the sound of it and always dreamt of owning one one day. Didn't really know a great deal about what they were in those days but did know that they were right up there at top of the ivory tower along with the likes of the the Skyline. Then as i started to get old enough to own 'performance' cars I quickly learnt that they were in a category requiring you to have a full chest rug, industrial size medallion and gonads the size of footballs.... which made me want one even more. I've also always wanted an RX-7 and a liner, but depending on how big your budget is when buying the car I think the Supra is easily 1st choice because of the build of the engine etc, which is what Dr Jekyll and Ricky touched on. Everyone knows the deal with the rotary engines and the liner engines too to a certain extent, thats why if you have the funds to go built engine then it's the only way to try to keep the car out of the garage and on the road as much as possible. My friend had a lovely R32 GTR which was a tad under 700bhp, but was built by Ron Kidell so was much more reliable.
  20. How is bidding going to be done Matt? Strictly on this thread for people to see what they are up against, no crafty PM's yeah ?
  21. This has also been a keen interest of mine too Noz, on my list of to do's since i bought the car..... These latest items you've found are more along the lines of what I had in my mind of what i wanted. One of my mates had an R32 GTR and he had a direct replacement induction vent which was just like one of these, not an actual lamp with a hole cut through it or anything, looks much better IMO. Have been seriously considering finding out costs to have one made bespoke like. There's a carbon fibre moulders/manufacturers about 5 miles away from me but I know that would cost an absolute fortune to do so was just thinkin of settling for regular fibreglass..... but now i've seen these one's! Good find
