  1. HKS does not break up the parts to their exhausts any more. They used to but quit almost a year ago. Regards, Dusty
  2. Christmas in October!! Enjoy mate, Dusty
  3. I'm PM'ing you... Thanks, Dusty
  4. Cheers for that. I will pass him to Robert, he does the FD parts. Regards, Dusty
  5. Yep, that sounds more like it...
  6. Ask for a break down. There is no way there is that much duty, that must include a lot of other fees.
  7. Inspection does not mean you pay more. Its all in the paperwork.
  8. The percentages are 17.5% for VAT and another 4% for it being a car part, so the total is 21.5%. Anyone paying the full 21.5% on what they paid is having to pay it because someone in the USA is not sending the correct documentation. Regards, Dusty
  9. Bax really turned the screw to us on your shipment. That is not a normal occurrence or I would not use them. The problem now is getting the UK Bax team to respond to the USA team. Seems no one wants to take any responsibility for it and actually give us an answer. I email them regularly about it though and keep trying to get somewhere with it. Kind regards, Dusty
  10. I can not mark it as gift - Customs knows what is going on with that. Peter and I have already discussed this privately as well. We're talking about 2 pounds extra per person split 10 ways. And SOME of those charges are UPS charing to "broker", i.e. their paperwork, time, etc. Thanks, Dusty
  11. As long as you do not boost your car much or try to do any racing, you will be find. Once a stock clutch starts to go, if you are easy on it, you can get 1,000 miles more out of it. Cheers, Dusty
  12. Agreed. PHR Stage 1 or BL T61. Cheers, Dusty
  13. I've had the RPS C/C in my daily driver for 4.5 years now. After at least 12 clutches I found the one I can't break in a matter of months. I could buy a NICE Supra TT for all the clutches I messed up LOL. Cheers bud! Dusty
  14. I'm very familiar with the HKS T51 - no specs needed. On full boost, your clutch will give out eventually. You should be good for a while though, especially since you do not put many kilometers on your baby. Looking forward to the dyno! Dusty
  15. I hope you guys like them as much as we do in the states! PM's answered. Dusty
  16. I've had at least one Supra for the last 9 years. I've tried everything the USA has to offer, and then some LOL. At least 12 clutch/flywheel combinations, I've had over 20 turbos, 5 intake manifolds, 4 exhaust manifolds, wheels from 15" to 19", at least 8 suspensions I can recall, 4 different kinds of automatic transmissions, on and on and on! I never tried the EBC Red though! DOH!!
  17. What's your power goal on the car? The twin is rates to 650 if I recall correctly. I assume you want less than that? What size turbo?
  18. $87 front, $89 rear. I keep them in stock - they are BY FAR the most popular I sell in the states. Everyone loves them. UK calipers and USA calipers on TT's are the same. Cheers, Dusty

    TRD Widebody

We have a customer with the TRD widebody and 18" Fikse wheels. You can see pictures on Powerhouse Racing's website. Click here. Scroll down towards the bottom and look for "Steve Harvey's Show-Stopping Supra" Cheers, Dusty
  20. Congrats on the kit!! Remember to add some fuel buddy so you aren't trying to find a good deal on pistons and machine work. Did you get the OS Giken Twin or Triple? FYI - the triple has a VERY VERY heavy pedal pressure. The Twin is not as bad, but still heavy. If you have traffic I do not think you will like it much. Cheers, Dusty
  21. I have had a LOT of brake pads over the years: Endless Project Mu TRD Stock Hawk HPS Hawk HP+ Hawk Brembo Spec Metal Matrix and EBC Green I have tried some track-only pads too but I will leave that out of this discussion. I love to corner and circuit race, etc. For a STREET car, in terms of performance (what else matters???), here's my preference in order from best to worst: Hawk Brembo Spec Project Mu Hawk HP+ (a bit aggressive for some people though I think) Hawk HPS Endless EBC Green TRD Stock Metal Matrix The highest dust were the Hawk HPS. The loudest were the Metal Matrix (also the worst). The longest life - that's hard - but either the HPS or the Project Mu or the Endless. But none lasted so little time I felt cheated. I did take off the Metal Matrix and TRD before they were finished though. Happy Braking! Dusty
  22. Since Seibon C.F. fenders were brought up...here's a recent shipment we received at the MVP warehouse of Seibon. I have another even larger shipment that left Seibon today and will be here by next Tuesday. http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/seibonstack1.jpg http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/seibonstack2.jpg
  23. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and (repeat) orders! To anyone doubting my delivery times - the fact is it varies. If you order something that is backordered at the manufacturer, then there will be a delay. Most orders ship in 1-10 days depending on their size, complexity, and if everything is in stock. MVP is direct with virtually everyone, there is no middle man to cause delays or give excuses. If Seibon is out of fenders, what can I do really? I tolk to Ryo (manager) and Sean (owner) on a daily basis. I just filled a $49,000 Seibon order to Saudi Arabia in 16 days. It simply depends on what is ordered. If anyone is looking to place an order with me, please ask me to check on the ETA on every item on your list, and I will happily come right back to you with the stock level or backorder waiting time and we can cut out anything that may have a long wait. Thanks everyone! Dusty
  24. This BOV is a replacement for the stock and goes right there. I have not installed one but have installed an HKS and a Blitz. It does indeed go right where the stock one is without any issue. I asked Greddy if they had Englsih instructions and they said they would work on it and get back to me. Thanks, Dusty
  25. Any of the standard size BOV's (in other words anything other than an HKS Racing BOV) can only blow off the air that you see at about 500wrhp. Any single turbo making over 500rwhp should run 2 BOV's. I'm considering a 3rd one at this point. Regards, Dusty
