  1. I've always thought the engine bays on supras were the same colour but just base-coat? I.e. Without the laquer.
  2. Cool and all that, wouldn't you prefer a V160 shifter though? Shorter throw, sits lower down. A much more pleasant experience.
  3. 650-700 is a really nice street supra. I'll never go for more power in mine, it's just sensational. For that power you need a decent diff and tyres, plus brakes to really enjoy it though and for it to feel comfortable on the road!
  4. I thought that old RB26 Engine was in good working order still?
  5. Progress! -ST205 Throttle Cable Sourced -TB in progress at the engineering shop -Injector 14mm top hats are in the post. Current Status: Valve covers need some mods and polishing next!
  6. Perfect for a TT with a greddy intake etc... £50
  7. As in the title, for an aftermarket inlet manifold.
  8. As in the title, I believe they are whifbitz injector bungs. Tig welded into the lower runners to stop leaking. This setup has been on my car since march last year. The rail is for 11mm topped injectors, I had ID1000cc injectors with the 11mm top hat adapters(they also come as 14mm). The rail has a -6 on the front and a -8 adapter on the back, I ran -8 in fron the pump and -6 out, it made 708fwhp like that, with no issues. Not sure what to ask for it, bungs are £42 new, a rail from paul is £200, plus runners are what £40? Then £20 to a friend with a tig-welder? I was going to say £200 may be fair? Tempted to keep it anyway, sort of gutted I have to change the rail at all, but it doesn't work with my RMR.
  9. RMR has been getting some love. -Plenum has had a polish up. Runners have had a coat of wrinkle. I also masked up carefully and painted a light wrinkle coat on the RMR logo. It came out really nice, didn't work for me as just a machined effect, but I like it now! -Throttle body is away at the machinists having some work done. It leaked through the spindle bearings. I have made plans to address this, and also adapt it to use a supra TPS and not a mustang one(higher resolution). I will post photos when it's done.
  10. I am very excited to have just received these pictures! Basically I was working for a motoring publication on a photoshoot at Millbrook proving ground, and as it was a nice forecast I decided to take the supra. In the back of my mind I was also hoping for the opportunity to take some pictures! However I was quickly disappointed when my camera was sealed into it's case and sticker was placed over my phone Camera lens. (Security is taken very seriously as manufacturers pay a lot of money for privacy when testing their new cars... I was very lucky to coerce one of the official photographers sisters to take some photos for me on the banking.. she did a great job I thought as she is not a professional. The day got better from there, as once the shoot for the motoring publication was over, I was asked by one of the course marshals, "Would I like to do a lap of the banking?" Errrr let me think.... YES! Richard Dredge, one of the photographers, also snapped some action shots of the car in motion at 100MPH, I have uploaded a good one below. I can confirm the 'Neutral Steer' effect does work, so let go of the wheel at 100MPH at the top of the banking and the car will steer itself. We pulled off the banking, and the course marshall stopped and came over to my window, grinning like a cheshire cat I couldn't believe my luck when he asked if I wanted to do a lap of the alpine handling circuit as well...! (This is where they filmed the Aston martin barrel roll in Casino Royale) No Pics sadly as I was A - Driving, and B- Didn't want to take the piss/break the rules after how awesome the staff were treating us. Needless to say this was definitely one of the best days of Supra Ownership I have had. Getting my car sideways on the Alpine circuit was always going to be highlight Anyway, Pics!
  11. Managed to unplug/disconnect the vacuum from the map sensor? Sits on the bulkhead up behind the intake manifold.
  12. Greddy TPS Adapter for Q45 Throttle Body As above, anyone got one?
  13. Interesting to know, I didn't know they made a GE version! Still have a link somewhere?
  14. At long last..... An Update! I am very, very pleased with this latest purchase, a Genuine Ross Machine Racing Intake manifold & Wilson Throttle Body. I have been snooping around supra-forums for literally years, hoping to find one of these, as I never expected to pick one up in the UK. Thanks to Chris Parry for the deal! It also came with the original RMR fuel rail. I'm not sure if I will use this or my HKS rail yet.. as the HKS fits my ID1000cc injectors, with 11mm tops, and the RMR rail is made for 14mm injector tops.... Hmmmm, so I'd need to swap the injector tops for new 14mm affairs. If I don't use it, I shall stash it away anyway, as it's part of the original RMR package. The quality of it's construction and design means it's sort of hypertune-quality, although I doubt it's quite as effective due to the 15 years age difference between the two, but it still is one of the best manifolds ever made for a supra. They are highly coveted in the USA, and for good reason! I wanted one as I refuse to cut the hole in the inner wing to allow for the pipework, as you have to do with any angled intake. With an RMR the pipework follows the stock routing. There is also the rare-factor to consider... Anyone seen another in the UK before? Anyway, pics! I have plans to beautify it before I fit it, so stay tuned! I'm not expecting any more power, as the turbo is pretty maxed out, but it will be interesting to see if it gains at all in the mid-range.
  15. Sorry, but to confirm: it comes with the gearbox parts or they need to be sourced separately?
  16. Gold all day long! Unless you plan on some gold wheels in the future, in which case I'd go black.
  17. Heard good thins about the demisterman ones... Apparently a fraction of the toyota price as well!
  18. Pretty sure I just saw this car driving through Hemel Hempstead town centre, was it you? Looked and sounded very smart.
