  1. It doesn't need a new clutch. It only just slipped. Maybe just a new oem disc. 640ft/lbs - 708HP - 1.6-1.7 bar boost. Ibrar, dad said you told him it was going to make big power!! You weren't wrong. Awesome turbo kit lee has produced here, really delivered the goods! All I can say is, if you're thinking of changing to a new setup... Talk to Lee and spec your kit to your needs. I'm immensely proud of the car. I put it together in about 3 weekends on my driveway and it really has delivered! The turbo is 'only' a Gen 1 Journal. But it spools like a mofo and throws you back in your seat. The midrange is amazing, partly due to the turbo... and I think the Staggered cam combo is really working well in the midrange, even if I lose a little ultimate power over matched cams. All in all... I've built a proper weapon! Cheers to Lee and the guys for their help today. Will post a dyno shot next,
  2. Final figure, 708HP with a tiny bit of clutch slip.
  3. Cheers Bluds! Can't wait to take it for it's maiden spin post mapping!
  4. I have an S6. It needs to be pinned into the correct pin and assigned in the I/O configuration.
  5. 'D' Scott. http://s1115.photobucket.com/user/suprasteve70/media/2011-11-18175520.jpg.html Yes, I'm sure. I made my own syvecs adapter harness... was a ballache but I'm pretty familiar with the pin outs. What's the problem you're having Scott?
  6. There is an Intake air temp sensor on the stock manifold yes. It's just behind the throttle body on the inside. It's 100% used on a single install. - - - Updated - - - Pinout diagram is for the ECU yes, imagine you're looking at the ECU side on.
  7. I do dearly love Steve's car... Twins look awesome as well! They are a bit more effort work wise... Couldn't build it on my drive as the engine has to come out. I sold them as I'd quit my job(couldn't stand it any more!), and I was worried about money. I was very lucky to bag another one straight away, so I went ahead and bought another kit.
  8. Yeah that looks like the plan right now mate. Cheers all! Well happy right now
  9. It's done! Took it for it's maiden test cruise today to check all was well, nothing appears to be awry. Maybe mapping on Wednesday, but we'll see. Some final progress pics: Changed my front crank seal, and ran the tig along the crank sprocket: Fixed my constantly leaking clutch slave(thread was knackered but the bore itself was perfect), by welding on a -3 fitting for the braided line: Finally....! Apart from a few small bits..... It's done! I've driven it! It's loud! My word it sounds good, the manifold has a touch of the RPS manifold about it, real offbeat growl... love it! Only took 3 different cars, 3 different turbo kits and 5 years of changing my mind to settle on this. Roll on mapping! Got a few little bits to do still to tidy it up. (Weld water neck etc...) Enjoy!
  10. I don't seem to be able to find an ebay advert for NUR arches any more? I forsee this thread disappearing soon. Unfotunately A few people have managed to silence this forum over the years for outing the truth about certain businesses. Oh and yeah, massively the wrong tone to take!
  11. It's not a Gen2... I researched it a lot, I'll dig out the dyno graphs I found later, for the street I couldn't see it making all that much difference. I'll find out once I have my own dynograph!
  12. The joys of building a car in a 1 day a week slot... Just end up trying to work quickly all the time! Thanks, need to get onto Ryan today, see when we can do this.
  13. Just realised that, A- none of the jubilee clips are straight... OCD going into overdrive and I can't touch the car till I'm home @ the weekend..Ahhhhhh! B- Some of those pictures are so crap.. in fairness it's dark and they are done with a phone!
  14. Cheers Luc! It certainly does look lovely, shame it's going to go all discoloured from heat really! Doooo it! Dooooo it!! Nothing darling, it's your black sheep american twin who won't stop banging hookers & being a massive c.... Haha no! Why do you say that? I look nothing like Robin Van Persie! Cheers Claymondo! I'll make it back down to BW once it's done. Hopefully for the F&F meet!
  15. Random Pics from the install so far! Other parts fitted; -Turbo Oil Drain Silicone heat wrapped -New Manifold Studs, Nuts & Exhaust Gaskets. Matrix pipe has a few layers of wrap on it -Manifold Fitted -Wastegate Fitted -Turbo Fitted -New HKS type R Intercooler Fitted -IC Pipework complete and HKS Racing BOV welded to cold side pipework -PAS Cooler Relocated So; All IC pipes are done, BOV flange welded to IC pipe, literally just needs the DP fitting and I get to hear that 2J single growl..!! Roll on the weekend!
  16. There's only so much Justin Bieber you can listen to I suppose! Yeah I'm hoping to get it mapped asap if all goes to plan
  17. Easily the most comprehensive kit I have had be pleasure of fitting.
  18. Indeed young christoph! I was tempted by a 4" DP.... For the apool enhancement properties. The I remembered when I had a boost logic for a week.... Never again! Too loud. You might find you need a valve to shut it down when cruising, gonna drone like mad on an auto! Agreed, the manifold is finest car porn!
  19. Seeing as Lee's posted the pictures! This is the new SRD Turbo Kit in all it's glory. Specs of My Kit: -6266 CEA Billet Turbo -Twin Scroll SRD Manifold -HKS 60mm Wastegate -Open Screamer -3"DP -4" Intake I'll be writing a full review at the weekend, so far the experience of fitting has been exceptional. Incredibly comprehensive kit, with all the minor details that most other kits lack accounted for. A really excellent effort for a first turbo kit from Lee. It's also very customisable, Lee will cater to whatever power/spec you want. I added a DEI Turbo blanket and an EGT sensor on top of my kit. Here's my kit being prepared for shipping:
  20. Have you had this mapped yet? Or are you still on the base map?
  21. Feck off would I send them a copy of my V5!
