    Journal Gen 1 6266 ....!
  2. Check your TPS sensor is adjusted properly, as per the manual with feeler gauges and a multimeter. Sounds like something mine did with an incorrectly set TPS.
  3. Cheers Chris, I'm fond if your old mans car too! Even if it is a slushbox! So here is what the inside of a 6 speed looks like....! I only pulled it apart to re-seal it, but I decided to change the front main bearing as it was Just starting to show signs of wear. Cost me £35 from a local bearing company, for a genuine oem-spec koyo-made bearing, toyota wanted £280+ vat...!!!!! Luckily the rest of the gearbox looks in great condition. Seals turn up next week, hopefully it will be back together then In the mean time I have re-sealed and re-assembled the rear half of the casing.
  4. Oh, the bay boxes are done. Finished them in wrinkle black with good reflecting foil on the inside faces for some heat protection
  5. Haven't updated in a while...! Thought I'd throw a quick one up. New bobbin for the exhaust, old one was buggered..! Also treated it to a new clutch after the old one seemingly just got old and stopped working HKS LA Twin recommended by Lee & Jamie as probably the nicest clutch on tha market today for a single. Cheers Lee for speedy delivery! In other news my getrag was leaking between the flanges so I've pulled it apart to re-seal. Found the input shaft bearing was a tad worn so I'm replacing that, the rest of the transmission seems in good order..!
  6. We defo should have raced at some point....!
  7. I have a HKS Ti, fit is great... Too loud and annoying now though, need to do some work to shut it up. Had a Whifbitz 4" before, fitted like poo and was louder than the HKS Ti. Don't get a boost logic, they're made from crap material, will make your ears bleed and the mounts are poo.
  8. Met the bloke earlier this year... Such a monumental bellend I'd burn it now!
  9. Grind a V into the crack and have someone good weld it up...!
  10. On the way out I went through passport control first. I stopped and after deliberating with a couple of other drivers we went down the coach lane. Some numpty who obviously didn't have a clue then directed us back into the normal car lane.....! Despite us making the right choice. I think they need to have a massive bollocking before next year and told to up their game... we come back year after year, they should be able to brief their staff on the appropriate script by now surely?!
  11. The club has a stand confirmed for this year as well. I haven't had the official details back on number of cars yet, but they will be coming soon...!
  12. Lee's is a vauxhall blue I think, not RSP. I should mention condition or current state of completeness isn't inportant(The roof must be there though!). I want a genuine RSP Aerotop as a project.
  13. What do you know Nick? WhatsApp me
  14. Apart from MarcP's car, does anyone know of any other RSP Aerotops that the owner might be willing to part with?
  15. How can anyone get a base-map so wrong that it fills the sump with fuel? Especially when it was done in person on a dyno?! Ryan sent me a base-map, I loaded it onto the syvecs and it ran. He then logged in remotely to get the idle etc right.. I then drove around where I lived for a few days, then drove 3 hours down to Lee to have it mapped... No massive overfuelling, no problems. Off boost it drove perfect.
  16. I'm not going to Ashford but I will be going south so we may cross paths
  17. DVLA send you a cheque for the amount of full months remaining.
  18. Three nuts. Should be ok on a fresh import!
  19. First cat makes all the difference on a TT Dave!
  20. Pm'd you earlier mate, did you get it?
  21. Taking the whole exhaust manifold & cat off of an N/A will take you all of 10 minutes Vry easy job! Then you have the whole thing out on the floor to work with.
