  1. Great exhaust, GLWTS! As Lee says you need to order a HKS specific adapter & V-band to make it fit, or you need to turn down a normal 4" vband adapter in a lathe like I did.
  2. It's silver and auto is your problem. I'd say 5k?
  3. Driven this whilst Ryan set up the traction control ; nice, quick, fun car
  4. Save up a bit more, buy the more engaging manual. You'll just regret it down the line if you don't, then have the heart ache of trying to find a conversion, and it ultimately costing you more in the end...!
  5. I'll sanction who fingers who in my new car Burna! Fitz has bought mine, I'm having this!
  6. 37k miles? Looks like it's done 370k miles!
  7. Who's 100% in then? I'll pop down if the turn out is good
  8. If you're not far away from Leicester, I have a spare set of oem packs you could try.
  9. Lots of people have a had problems with Whifbitz coil packs recently. Tony TT bought some, had issues and swapped them for oem one's almost straight away. As you're BPU especially, it sounds like break up/loss of spark @ high rpm that's causing your problems.
  10. Remove the rear steel section of the front subframe and lift the engine about 2" Not a bad job really!
  11. Welcome! Your old car was lovely bud. James' car has an ancient turbo setup as well, get yourself in a car with a modern single setup an you'll be doubly blown away by the spool!
  12. Ha! Get off your high horse you. You have at least another years grovelling before your opinion begins to count again You've done well with your current car, but the forum never forgets!!!
  13. Brave man running it up the strip! You'll be upset if you break it already
  14. Haha! Well if it is it's no surprise... I am partially colourblind!
  15. This one? http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/detail/CU3412065484/photo/index.html?STID=SMPH0004&RESTID=SMPH0001&FD=0066-9711-353610&KMT=#fukugaBox3 Looks save-able. Different shocks, alcon brakes & exhaust as well.
  16. I would still do some investigations. I.e. remove your aux belt and run it, check your cam idler bearing for wear etc... see if your noise is being caused by something else. If it's definitely the same noise as me/in the video though, then you don't need to worry.
  17. I think it's more common than we think, but some cars have it louder than others I have noticed, hence why it's not really been noticed before.
  18. Don't worry about it. My car has made that noise since I bought it. I did about 13k miles as a TT, then back in March I converted the car to single, it has not got worse. I removed the aux belt and ran the car, the noise is still present. I changed many parts and it still remains; Cams, cam pulleys, cam belt, cam idler and hydraulic tensioner, flywheel, turbos swapped for single, engine mounts, coil packs, crank pulley... you name it, it still makes the noise, compression is good and the engine is healthy making ~700hp. Not all supra's do it, I had an Aristo that made the same noise, but not quite as loud. I've also just worked on another supra, and I noticed it made the same noise. It's a harmonic noise, I'm not sure what causes it.... Casting flash in the head maybe, slightly out of shape cam journals? But it doesn't seem to mean you have problems. If I ever eliminate/solve the noise I'll post it on here so the world knows.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QvfysoyS7M Like this?
  20. is it like a 'whu da da whu da da whu da da' noise? Only audible when at low idle after warming up?
