Why not? Is it that cut and dry that the MAP2 is rubbish? It's one thing to put forward a reasoned point giving specific information as to why a particular product may be unsuitable but beginning your arguement by saying it doesn't do ignition timing when it actually has "full Timing advance and retard control of up to eight channels for Distributor, Group Fire or Coil On Plug configurations using a 20 x 19 (380 zone) table" just makes you look silly http://www.mapecu.com/map2.html But Alex is right regarding the mapper - for me the MAP2 seems to tick all the right boxes but I can't seem to find anyone with the experience to map it.
