Who is this "our" that you speak of? I presume everyone with a gripe about immigration can trace their roots back to their prehistoric British family? I mean we don't want any of those pesky Roman types coming here and taking our jobs, Vikings, Normans and Jutes taking up NHS beds, Anglo-Saxons claiming disability benefit... bring back the plague I say! "We" have done our own fair share of wandering the world and taking ownership of countries, perhaps it's time for some payback?

The new one is nearly full carbon, they are swapping entire panels including the roof and rear quarters, it's not skinned at all in those places. It's an interesting build thread.

They seem to be breaking - I've never seen anyone post up about a Porter Cable going wrong on the detailing forums but there have been quite a few reports of the UDM and G220 stopping working. One G220 only lasted for 2 hours! CYC will sort you out with a replacement (direct from Meguiars by the looks of the posts I've seen) with no problem at all, they are a great company to deal with etc, but it's still a pain if it does go. Obviously there will probably be 100's of people who aren't having issues though, a shame quality control seems to be an issue, they look like good machines in theory and as you say it's much easier when they aren't 110v too. Might be worth looking on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/ and having a browse to see how people are getting on.

I just don't see the point in moaning about it, you either start some kind of political movement / join and existing one and try to sort it out to suit the majority or you get out of Dodge and find a country you are happy in. Clearly the UK isn't for you but thanks for giving it a go for 11 years. So the UK is better than where you came from but it's still not good enough... time for the next upgrade perhaps?
