A bit touchy today aren't we?
There is a real problem that well meaning people such as yourself can actually cause harm by trying to be nice, sadly the sorts of people who contruct these messages often do so to trick people into deleting important files or to bombard specific email accounts with mail. In addition to this they also increase the amount of traffic on mail servers and can slow things down a little (although was more of an issue back when they first appeared).
I'm not having a go, I'm not being nasty, I'm not trying to poo poo you for posting this, I'm simply trying to show you how to check if something is a hoax in the hope that the next time you get one you'll be able to do the same for the person who sent it to you. If everyone did this the problem of hoax emails might go away.
People need to be more cautious with the contents of emails in general.
