  1. Funny how you don't see many Supra owners joining the dedicated Aristo forums for tech help thought isn't it? Did you see 5th Gear this week BTW? "Never in it's 20 year history has Lexus ever made a car that really turned people on" OK you are badged as Toyotas but it just goes to show it takes more than an engine CB4coD2cCng I'd also like to point out that I actually really like the newer Aristo that the original poster has and all of the above is simply harmless banter. If I ever set up a taxi company an Aristo would be on the cards.
  2. Hopefully you'll be able to increase the target a little - don't be afraid to just donate £2 people, you don't have to go wild, every little bit helps and nobody will think you are being tight.
  3. It should be in the Events section really... with it being an event and all that You should add the dates to the calendar too: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/calendar.php You can set it up so it puts it on each month.
  4. Agreed I'm enjoying your work sir.
  5. Thank goodness for that, my wallet just breathed a huge sigh of relief now that the temptation has been removed
  6. No complaints here at the moment, now that the search feature has been enabled again it's been my main daily forum to trawl through - it's packed with useful Supra stuff and actually has a bias towards the car rather than towards OT content, quite refreshing.
  7. MR2 is fine for daily use, I lived with one as my only car for a few years and had no issues at all. You can fit suitcases in the back, there is storage in the front, behind the seats and the boot is a sensible size - designed to fit 2 bags of golf clubs if that helps give you an idea of size. The Supra wins for visits to IKEA and other flat pack emporiums but the depth of the MR2 boot makes it more useful for shopping and things. When I got the Supra I missed the handy boot of the MR2, obviously we have the back seats but it's not quite the same. Plenty of us have managed weekends at JAE with crates of beer, cool boxes, tents, clothes, washing equipment and so on... if you are good at Tetris an MR2 can be very practical indeed
  8. I think I'll just stick to the old stuff for now and wait until they sort this out
  9. Which Dodo are you putting on sir? I popped some Blue Velvet on mine the other week and it came up a treat, the problem is I want an excuse to buy others now because they smell so nice Nice work so far though, looking forward to the finished pics. You are more patient than me with the bonnet, I tend to just quarter it.
  10. It's £10 more, has a slower CPU, older operating system and doesn't mention if it's SIRF III - it seems to be inferior. I presume you could always spray the other one, at £49.99 it doesn't matter if you go over the lines
  11. If anyone else has issues trying going in through this link: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/index.html?_LOC=UK&ebid=1547
  12. My word I completely missed that one, popular thread too, I guess I was on my break for the forum then or something. Oh well, I'll hang my head in shame for half a second and move on
  13. If you fancy something slightly less scientific try "Stair Dismount" and "Truck Dismount" from http://secretexit.com/
  14. 0H5g9VS0ENM You can download a beta of it here: http://www.acc.umu.se/~emilk/downloads.html
  15. Odd. Give them a ring and order over the phone, someone on AVForums was having similar issues and they honoured the lower price. When I first added it the price was £69.99, I removed it, logged in, added it and the price was suddenly £49.99 as advertised in their email.
  16. Did you add to the basket before logging in? I had to remove it from my basket, log in and then add it again. Annoyingly they are only 20 minutes drive from me but you have to get the item posted out
  17. I think you can get the maps here: http://www.gpsunderground.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63
  18. I've ordered one to try out, decent screen size, you can tinker with the OS, it does speed cameras via this site: http://www.gps-support.eu/speedcam_index.php And so on... I use Copilot on my N95 at the moment and it works OK but it's annoying if the phone rings, a calendar alarm goes off etc as it turns off. It's a pain without a touch screen too. So I thought this might be handy to have, at that price you can afford one for each car
  19. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131342 £69.99 but when I logged in it dropped to £49.99 Seems to get favourable reviews for the money. http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=697455
  20. It's tonight if anyone is thinking of going. I'm not.

    Mr2 > Lambo

If it's anything like the Ferrari kits it'll be easy and cheaper than insuring an ordinary MR2. When they last advertised these kits they showed a really nasty MR2 version parked next to a real one that they used for most of the pics. You can see some of them here: http://www.extreme-sportscars.com/murcielago/newmurci.html And... 6Y9TSJ9EKBA
  22. Calendar links added for them all so people can pop their names down and make a meet of it. Always a good mix of cars, seating and so on - a few pics from some old events to show people what sort of stuff turns up... http://www.megaboost.co.uk/supra/mine/york-10-10-04/ http://www.megaboost.co.uk/supra/mine/yorkdragway/
