    Cheap Finds!!!!

Does it come with a free shovel to help you get the gravel out of your cylinders?
  3. If the horses are 5 minutes late to the start line that doesn't give me the impression it will be a very exciting race.
  4. I might have been tempted if it was quick and easy to do but I tend to get addicted to things so perhaps it's best I don't start on that rocky road PS: Did it win then? I went to the races once, I thought that their lawns were very nicely presented.
  5. All the gambling sites are blocked here
  6. You could hardwire a power inverter in or get one that plugs into the cig lighter. I used to do this with an old laptop so I could use it an an MP3 server before headunits did that kind of thing. I hid mine under the glovebox on my MR2.

    Laptop

    Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. My CD drive is broken
  9. The contents might have to be sourced from elsewhere you sick puppy
  10. Stick £5 on for me then, if it wins I'll Paypal it over
  11. eBay via sellers from Hong Kong tends to be cheapest at around ~£25 shipped, suppliers here will want ~£40 or more.
  12. I wouldn't know where to start with this gambling lark, do I just put a pound coin and a note into my CD tray and press close?
  13. I have a few but "working" doesn't really describe them sadly, most only hold charge for about 5 minutes You can pick non-IBM ones up cheaply enough though.
  14. I was just about to post this, you don't randomly find someone hidden in a bed anyway, it'll be interesting to find out what really went on. Good news though.
  15. But please practice on something other than your pride and joy first and be careful with the heat generated on the plastics, even when I do eventually get a rotary I'll still use my Porter Cable on the bumpers, spoiler etc
  16. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polishing-machine/meguiars-g220-complete-menzerna-kit/prod_414.html http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/3m-3434-masking-tape/prod_79.html If things are a bit more drastic you can wet sand first but I would get a scrap panel to play with before you attack the real thing
  17. I bought a similar item from the US years ago but didn't fit it because it just looked wrong, it sat too far out in the intake - I have to say that I'm really impressed with these ones though, good to see the side vent mesh too, a nice touch.
  18. You need a decent torch (Sungun, Brinkman, powerful LED, natural bright sun even) or a halogen light to examine the finish, inspect the clearcoat for swirls and scratches and work to remove these and the contaminants bonded to the car, once you have these at an acceptable level and polished up nicely the wax is just a slight enhancement on this. Grey / silver / white can look amazing when done properly - it's all in the initial prep, do it properly once, wash carefully so you don't add defects and then just keep topping up with a quality wax. Help any metallic finish to "pop" and get the clear as smooth as you can to reflect like a mirror, worth the effort IMO even if it only makes a slight difference in the eyes of 99% of viewers. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14505&
  19. And a whole new thread when you could have just updated the existing one.
