  1. Yep, I have documents like that for pretty much everything anyone might want to do, it's tragic really but it would be chaos without them.
  2. Was he under the bed too? Crikey what an adventure!
  3. "Very" - even though he's blocked I still find myself clicking the link to view a new post from him just so that I can see how increasingly annoying he's becoming. I suspect it's actually another "look at me" contest
  4. Carl_S mass identity theft attempt #1837
  5. Fust time saw im new e wer a bad'un int breath. Etc
  6. "Slightly" out of my price range sadly Oh and that letting agent won't deal with me because I took them to court and won
  7. Why is it usually that left one? If adjusting the rubbers doesn't help you may want to try the catches. The catches are held in place with bolts that centre themselves with tapered seats: http://stage.babcoxemedia.com/images/EBNews/triton.jpg These force the catch to sit in a specific position, generally a good thing However in order to lift the catch slightly you can swap the tapered bolts out for conventional ones, you have to do them up really tightly though otherwise the process of closing the bonnet can knock them downwards and make the problem worse.
  8. It'll be absolutely fine The nutjobs on the car washing forum just like to get that extra 1% of shine with something that needs doing every week.

    Hovis

    Don't rely on it!
  10. Reminds me of the chicken coop I lived in once but has a bit more style to it I watched an old Grand Designs tonight where they bought a "flat pack" house from the US - they go up so quickly.
  11. The Collinite is very well regarded over on Detailing World, for the money it's an excellent choice by all accounts, I was tempted to pick some up myself but already have a few to work through. The durability on the 915 is supposed to be slightly better I think but then it's sightly more expensive too. What they seem to say is that they are great for Winter when you can't get out and wax as often, get a couple of coats on and then it'll do the job for a good few months. I tried some Chemical Guys 5050 on one of the cars at the weekend and Dodo Blue Velvet on the other, the CG stuff seemed to give a bit more depth and the beading was slightly tighter, a lot like the Victoria stuff I usually use and like. To be honest I suspect you'll be impressed with any stuff CYC have listed on there but give the 476 a go - just be aware that most of the shine you see or a show car / detailed photo comes from a good machine polish, the wax just adds that little bit more. If you are near a Halfords even the Meguiars NXT paste is pretty good, won't last as long as the 476 but gives good results.
  12. It's not that bad (or at least it wasn't) - it was the Impreza types.
  13. There was talk of moving things up to Miami GT at one time
  14. I think there were a couple - possibly for different years. I've always liked the one you've posted and would glady purchase one if someone has one knocking around I think that one is in one of the HyperRev magazines I have but I can't read the text.
  15. Probably, no doubt it was the chap in the 300ZX mobile disco, he really used to annoy me.
  16. I just got a bit bored with the chav element that kept turning up and acting like c*cks, not just the non-Japanese car folks but the more "challenged" folks from other clubs who wanted to drive like idiots in and around the car park or play music at silly volumes. The idea was to create a nice environment where the bikers didn't regard us as taking over "their" venue and acting like it was a McDonalds, I started to feel embarassed by others behaviour in the end. I tried speaking to certain people and asked them to behave etc but it generally only lasted until the next month. Maybe I'll come along again nearer summer.
  17. Couldn't be much worse really.
  18. Sounds like a potential for death Probably wise to drive. Do you have a digital camera? Would be interested in some pics to get an idea of who goes these days if you get chance.

  21. There used to be lots, 10+ easily, I'm not so sure now, at least 1 if you turn up.
