  1. The Halfords offering is the one most people go for, you just have to check your terminal sizes - the J-Spec cars are often smaller. I think this is covered in one of those threads though.
  2. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=30238 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35928
  3. I have all the windows options tweeked so frames, scrollbars etc are tiny just to win back some workspace - hardly ideal though, budget model I guess Anyway back to the thread in question - send him to PC World for one of their bargain offerings, the big groups can buy 1000's and sell them cheap, the smaller places don't seem to be able to compete on the same level at the moment.
  4. Oh absolutely, I see exactly where you are coming from myself but those pesky mods might disagree
  5. I wouldn't have the one work got me but the model with the larger screen (same size case, less "frame" variant), increased resolution and biometric scanner would be a consideration.
  6. Will this be your 2nd or 3rd locked thread as a result of you talking about the contents of the dispute forum?
  7. Not taking the feet into account here but the T61 is around 3mm "fatter" - the T42 certainly looks a lot slimmer but I think that's down to it having that angled lower part rather than the complete flat edged T61 design.
  8. Carlos, I have a T42 (2373-F1G) on my right and a T61 (7659-AB7) on my left if you want me to measure or compare anything for you. I have a stack of T43 ones somewhere downstairs too but I think they are pretty much the same size as the 42 anyway.
  9. What sort of price would that be? I have an Envy one and it's certainly the best of the bunch as far as looks go, I just think it misses a trick on the fixing side of things so your option would solve that.
  10. The Supraforums massive seem to think they might be old HKS ones.
  11. Nice machine, can you get matching nail varnish?
  12. Click the link, you know you want to.
  13. A better quality plastic on the Toyota one IMO
  14. I have one, it's lovely. Oddly enough Toyota sell them, various options available, cupholders, shelves, flaps etc - or as the mighty Thorin suggests Halfords do a universal fit or I think a Volvo one goes in quite nicely. A search on here should reveal previous threads and maybe even some pictures.
  15. Not a bad company vehicle to put up with
  16. I've only ever seen an ex-Taxi SDI model at this price range but that was a while ago so the others might have slipped a bit. I liked my old one but it was the posh variant.
  17. Ah, that might be a different kettle of fish altogether - you may just be able to get a browser plugin or a free app to grab embedded videos and save them to a file. Depends on the site hosting them and the format being used most of the time.
  18. I have a couple of Lenovo laptops - robust and made from good materials, no complaints really but you do need to be careful with the spec you order, the screen res on some of the widescreen models is pretty dire so you effectively just cut the top off a normal screen and lose space rather than gain any. I doubt I'd buy one with my own money though.
  19. Homer - you may well laugh me off the forum with this one but a few chaps I chat to on another car enthusiast place swear by the Xantia diesel. Cheap to buy, even cheaper to run, they report them to be very reliable and you can run them on veg oil.
  20. ...that you weren't expecting this kind of backlash.
  21. I think most people had something to say in his original build threads, here and over on tumbleweed - but it's said now, it doesn't need to be dragged back up on a daily basis does it?
  22. Is that the best you can come up with? Bless you. I'm not suggesting the chap isn't a complete clown and that the car isn't close to being the worst Supra ever built (needs a Veilside wing to get that crown) - you've missed my point completely. What I'm saying is that we don't need to be reminded of these facts and discuss the same things over and over again each time the car appears somewhere. It's a fairly unique machine, it will get in mags, it will get photographed at meets... that doesn't mean it needs to get any additional publicity here, if someone does feel the need then bump one of the other 1847573 threads on the subject.
  23. Yeah that was mentioned in every other thread too
  24. Edit: Must read slower... You can get software that records actions on screen to make little movies but I can't recall any of the names right now.
  25. Does it look OK though in your opinion? I'm worried that I'm cutting corners on the motherboard but it just seems to be a "get the job" done kind of thing, no fancy colours but also no heat pipes which I'm thinking might be useful to have too... and then there is the clearance thing... this is why I hate PC building, too many choices.
