  1. So you'll be buying them? Oh no... it's just more chit chat Enjoy the free bump.
  2. As a piece of Supra history that's quite a car, not really to my tastes but as a complete package it works quite well. Certainly nicer than some others I've seen anyway.
  3. I received this as a bit of a spammy message on Facebook as a result of liking another band (Koichi Fukuda from Static-X is the guitarist) but gave it a go and I'm actually quite impressed with it. http://www.drugstorefanatics.com It's "Ambipulsive Rock" and might not be for everyone but it's fairly melodic and easy to listen to, a bit Stone Sour in some places IMO. Anyway it's a free album in a world where things aren't usually free so worth a quick download even if you delete it
  4. Change the ad and advertise it as a way to watch cars are safe and you'll have people jumping all over this
  5. 2 x tickets available - I bought these ages ago but don't think I can be bothered to drive to Newcastle on the night. 23rd June, O2 Academy in Newcastle: http://www.o2academynewcastle.co.uk/event/12125/coheed-and-cambria-tickets Ticket price is £16.50 each but I also had to pay the usual rip-off crap on top of that, £4.12 "service fee" (what?) and £2.25 postage (another con) so I ended up paying just under £40.00 for the pair. Will take £30.00 posted for the pair. I've seen them live before and they put on an amazing show.
  6. I watched it today too and enjoyed it.

    Hello!

    Ooo, nice forest!

    Hello!

Welcome aboard, we love trees here so feel free to post up some pics. My favourite is the oak.
  9. The only place I found a decent view was in a grandstand or any location overlooking a television screen, I had no idea what the results were by the time the race finished and was at Luffield with a TV in the distance, my eyesight is pants though. Getting out of on-site parking takes hours, it's quicker to walk a couple of miles to the venue. People get there really early for the best non-grandstand locations, lots of people seem happy to pay to go and then sit behind a grandstand away from the track and watch on a TV. Seems odd. To be honest it's an experience I wouldn't repeat but it was something I'm glad I did once, Kangaroo TV would have enhanced it but why go all that way for that money and then watch TV or listen to the radio? Makes you appreciate TV coverage but the noise of the cars really gives you goosebumps when you are there. New track layout this year might mean it makes sense to go general walkabout with your own folding chairs, because I had a reserved seat I didn't want to move around but I feel like I missed out a bit as a result. Expensive weekend though, go on holiday for 2 weeks instead and watch on TV

Just buy one in Japan that's already converted and budget to do some optimisation on the ECU / fuelling / tuning when it arrives. Insurance is likely to be more expensive as the car will have more power, be worth more and be more desirable to steal and strip down. Plenty of information on here about all this stuff.
  12. Does the car have a decat? Sounds like turbo oil seals.
  13. I do on-call for another department to keep my hand in and don't get any kind of relief the next day if I'm up all night. I have worked through until 4:30am in the past after a 6am start the previous day and I'm still expected in the office at 8:30am. I'm not formally contracted for it though so maybe that lets them get away with it, on the flipside I guess it also means I could just refuse but the money is nice when you get those weeks where you are just paid to sleep. Out of interest what sort of stand-by rates do you folks get?
  14. MattK is selling one with a bonnet attached.
  15. HiQ have an offer on recharges at the moment - cheaper than Kwik Fit, same machine used.

I know you! But I don't think I've ever seen the car If it's anything like your previous ones I'm sure it's lovely though, you don't tend to cut corners.
  17. Is the water from the leak hot or cold? Does it smell of anything? I'm going to jump on the air-con bandwagon for now, hope it's the case
  18. Yeah I noticed the block paving, nicer than the old grass & washing machine combo
  19. You lot sicken me. Not because of the female welcome thing, you just do.
  20. There isn't much you can do in a situation like this, he flipped out, the week before he was probably just a normal Joe. Hard to spot, hard to prevent, there are people on the edge around us all the time, luckily only a few get this extreme. A return to family / community values, a general improvement in social ettiquette and less focus on celebs / money as a sign of success / happiness would be a start I guess but you'll still get mentalists.
  21. I presume he wants to make sure the mentals have a bit of practice and a feel for their weapons before they go on a spree.
  22. It's not guns that need banning, that's obvious enough - it's the mentalists you have to sort out, unfortunately that switch is present in everyone and by the time it's noticed things have usually gone too far.
  23. Where has the washing machine gone from the garden next door? I liked that feature
