Hi All, Just wanting some of your expert advice on going single, it's for my GZ Aerotop TT Auto which is at BPU level. Just wondering what Turbo kit, Ecu and supporting mods will be best suited. My goal is around 600bhp and a fast road set up without to much lag. I want to stay with the auto box and maybe in the future look at getting a built box and flappy paddles (not 100% required though). What other things will be worth changing at the same time? Any advice is very much appreciated.

Quick update, intercooler was looking worse for wear for so while everything is off i decided to order a Garage Whifbitz Intercooler Kit, plan is to go single around 600bhp I have also just noticed there is no front crashbar, most likely because it had a Do Luck fitted, will create a wanted post but if anyone has a front crashbar please drop me a pm. Thanks -

Yes keeping the body kit, the c-west skirts are being blended in though. I have had that bumper lying around for 12 months or more after breaking the do luck. Not sure if i should change the headlights, currently jspec plastic lenses, bodyshop are going to see how they clean up first -

Hi Mate, I havent attended any meets yet but definately will be doing , bodyshop sprayed some test panels this afternoon, i will be taking a look on Thursday so sure to post up the results. -
I have a mines ECU and the o/d light kept coming on, sometimes the car would work fine for a few hundred miles and then it started again, reset the error codes and it could be fine for 5-10 minutes or a few hours of driving. Errors that were showing up pointed towards gearbox issues and solenoids (code 63 i think), i swopped out the gearbox ecu, changed the solenoids, full gearbox service etc and the issue went away for about 2 weeks and then started again. Turned out it was 2 capacitors in the ECU had blown/burnt out, 90p for replacement parts and the car has been fine since and touch wood no issues for the last 8,000 miles. So it is possible components or dry joints could be the issue.

Forgot to put that...colour is going to be Aston Martin Meteorite Silver (as below), not settled on what to do with the wheels yet which ae currently 18" Rota GTR's in Silver. -
Finally found somewhere to handle all the prep and respray, turns out a highly recommended local garage that i never knew about. All recommendations and previous examples of work are really good and they have done work on quite a few prestige cars. Here's some pictures of the progress so far and i will post some more when i get them. As it was when it went in: Progress:

I was looking at selling then decided to get a RRS for the winter and put the Supra in storage. Since then I have decided to keep it and progress it slowly to a single turbo of around 600hp. It's in the garage this week have Tein coilovers fitted then booked in the body shop for Monday. Will post up pictures of the progress

What difference would fitting a Syvecs to BPU Auto make?
scott.wild replied to neilp9876's topic in mkiv Technical
I am going single after i have finished the full respray, but doing it in a few stages, the first being Syvecs with paddleshift and cams, the second being the turbo, injectors etc and mapped to around 500bhp, the last stage being a rebuilt auto box and mapped to around 650bhp. I can provide feedback after the first stage but it will have cams, looking at the videos of the Syvecs with paddle shift controlling the autobox looks amazing. -
Hi All, I am looking at getting a full respray done and needing some attention to the bodywork, can anyone recommend some good bodyshops preferably in the Warrington, Manchester, Wigan area. I am not sure what the total cost is likely to be but i have a budget of £3k - £4k. Not fully settled on a colour yet, currently in 199 silver and as it's a TT aero i am favouring a satin black. Thanks

I will be looking for a built Autobox in a couple of months after i have gone 600bhp single so if you went for a Tony TT's you may have a buyer for the box already

Fixed - Error code 63 -O/d light flashing
scott.wild replied to scott.wild's topic in mkiv Technical
Hopefully fixed this, 2 x 47uf 63v Capacitors on the ECU had blown. A quick trip to Maplin's and for the total sum of £1.24 this seems to now be sorted...fingers crossed.
