    Europe

Scottish referendum for independence will be interesting, last night's results are nothing to go on at all. Independence result was 55% for no, leave result was 38%. Will be interesting to see how this goes. I wonder how the question will be phrased....we want independence but we want to be governed by the EU, bit of a contradiction. I think the vote should be democratic as well and be made available to the entire UK. I can almost guarantee we will get a different outcome from 2014.

    Europe

So the Remain campaign believes that if we leave the EU all our trade deals will disappear, we will lose control of immigration and lose control of a majority (sarcasm) vote at the table and Britain as a country will not be able to function. Are they really saying that the elected members of the UK parliament, voted by the UK people cannot run a country, if that is true then we replace our government. The MP's we voted for can start working hard for the UK people and start negotiating the new deals it is after all simply their jobs. Should Turkey be allowed to join the EU? why not (as long as they abide by EU rules) Remain campaign say we are all better off together so we should want Turkey to be part of that togetherness, surely if it is good enough for the UK then it is good enough for everyone else. Leave campaign are being pushed to make guarantees about the future by the Remain campaign- none of them can make guarantees because that is just how the future is. What the Leave campaign can guarantee is the outside of EU the elected MP's of the UK will be able to set numbers, targets, plans and forecasts for all sorts of things such as immigration/migration, travel, taxes, schools, hospitals, police, trade deals, foreign aid. Planning is far better than aimlessly drifting within the confines of the EU. Are we really saying that the remaining countries of the EU will refuse to deal with the UK when we import more from the EU than we export to it? - doesn't make good business sense does it. If we vote Remain then let's go all in, let's surrender any remaining British sovereignty, switch to the Euro, have all rights, laws, powers, control, planning and taxing controlled by the EU, after all we would have 1 seat at a very large table to be able to vote on these decisions. Vote LEAVE on Thursday and make Friday become the UK Independence Day....
  3. Cuold hvee at laset mdae srue the spllneing was croecrt
  4. Correct, also the end goal is to have a built engine. Getting used to the new power and setup and then i will look at getting the engine built and a bigger turbo, most supporting mods are in place now and the gearbox with the uprated clutches should be more than capable.
  5. First impressions are how best to describe it....E46 Bmw M3 with SMG (only comparing to this because i have owned one) but way better and faster, predictable gear changes, throttle blips on down shift, i have to admit i was a little tentative when i first picked it up but after 40 or so miles it just feels right, lots of different settings available with DriveLogic and Syvecs settings. It's early days yet and this is being used as a daily driver so plenty of town and motorway driving coming up
  6. Hi mate i am out and about most of today but we can definately sort something out soon
  7. It's made 616bhp with 479 lbft torque. Will upload the results from the dyno later
  8. Yes, all mapped and ready to go. Ryan has been in to help iron out a few things and just had the uprated clutches fitted because of too much torque, to quote Paul "it's like a rocket ship"
  9. Picking the car up from Whifbitz tomorrow that's no sleep for me then lol, can't wait.
  10. As Chris says just waiting on the result of the referendum almost there, had some traction issues and was waiting on tyres to be shipped and decided to have the Os giken 1.5 lsd fitted. At the final testing stage and ready for dyno. Sure Paul will be along with any further updates
  11. I am now having one of these on the 7 speed build Link is here http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/os-giken-lsd.html

  13. I guess it comes down to personal opinion, as for pretending I think the exact opposite is going on, this is a Supra with a BMW M gearbox in it no point in pretending and hiding the fact...
  14. Momo steering wheel and gear shift paddles fitted (so want to call them flappy paddles )
  15. Not sure what to do with the engine bay yet, going to get used to the new set up first then make a decision the next time the engine comes out
