  1. Cheers all Yeah Westy, I got a new job working from home, so now i have the Supra and 2 other cars between me and the missus, she's the only one that does any milage to and from work now. I do need to drive it more, but between the 3 cars we now collectively do around 12k miles... ridiculous!
  2. Hi All, Haven't posted anything in a while so thought i'd throw a few photos up of the car after a wash/polish today whilst the weather was nice. Its a 1999 RZ VVTi Twin Turbo Six speed manual (V161). It hardly gets driven these days (under 400miles last year) but has only just ticked over to 60k miles now Thanks for looking Jack
  3. Interesting as I've been with them for years until this year... I did the exact same, my analogy was: "if I bought a Ferrari for £0.50 and it got stolen, I wouldn't want the 50p back, I'd either want another Ferrari or the money to replace like for like"
  4. There is always room for negotiation of a total loss settlement. The original offer I recoeved for my written off 1998 tt6 vvti rz with only 50k on the clock was about £3k. Following negotiations and supplying evidence of other vehicles, I gave them the option (which you can request), pay me market value so I can replace my car, or buy me another supra, same spec, year, mileage etc.... You can guess which option they chose
  5. I think the above may be the case with resin bonded driveways. I've heard he same as currently I have a gravel drive and have looked into resin bond They do look brilliant, not cheap mind. As Chris said, I'd be having a few days leave and doing the ground works myself if I did mine
  6. RZ come with the larger brakes, rz-s do not
  7. If it were in great condition without the questionable, I would say 15-16k, in current condition id say closer to 12-13k
  8. Does this have an after market header tank? If so, photo and price please!
  9. Can I clarify the price on these, is this for both? The 6mt gear knobs are £133 new on whifbitz that's all so 180 seems very steep
  10. Stunning car, lovely purchase!
  11. I love the ridox kit, but a clean stock body like yours should stay that way imo... But then again, I am bias!
  12. My advice would be mirrors, mirrors and mirrors. I've been twice and it's crazy how fast things sneak up on you
  13. Doesn't surprise me, British bulldog, conkers and now this.... Soon, physical activity will be optional and only permitted on crash mat covered floors I'm sure
  14. Stunning, love that kit!
  15. Specto isn't too bad. Phoenix seems to be undergoing some updates to make things work better also... I've just put the beast 1.6 on mine and that seems a pretty decent build. Had nemesis on before that which was horrible

    Europe

Undecided at the minute, I want to read more on how it will affect trade.
  17. The carshopglow lights are the only ones I prefer to facelifts but the price is eye watering i agree
  18. A-Line in Dudley, speak to Kev, second to none down there
  19. Lovely car this, and very well priced! Glws
  20. I've seen a few 98 onwards tt6's relatively stock go for 18k+ lately, some of them with less than desirable mileage also! Tips tend to be a fair amount less, but also seem to be climbing in price
  21. Wonder why it hasn't got the recaro's if it's a genuine rz? Edit: hasn't got the carbon wheel either, looks like an RZ-S to me... Nice and clean mind
  22. My advice would be to buy one already done, or, sell up, buy a TT6 and go from there if you want to single yourself. In the long run, for issues and ease on the wallet, that is the route i would take. alternatively, explore other options for gearboxes and NA-T as others have said
  23. Looking good! The car will almost be the twin of mine with the new bumper! Very nice car you have there.... It reminds me I actually need to use mine
