  1. Considering selling mine if the price was right, I do about 300miles a year in it now and it seems a waste for someone not to use it.... Drop me a note if you're interested with a ballpark figure you're thinking of
  2. Exactly the same as what I got, westy. If they can find me some more 60k 1999 immaculate tt6 vvti’s I’ll buy them at that price.
  3. Its actually making me think about selling me, as bad as that sounds. At the minute, mine should fetch closer to £35k, however upon it being pinched, written off or similar, i could be facing a near 10 grand deficit. Its not a new issue though, nearly 7 years ago when i wrote my Grey TT6 off, i had an insurance payout offer of £3k , my concern with agreed value is that there would be no haggling in that case and id simply be out of pocket. Good luck, hopefully you have more luck that I (i'm with Sky for reference)
  4. Whilst I agree 30k+ here, good luck with the insurance valuation. Recently I’ve had an issue getting a decent agree value on mine, despite seeing many examples selling for well over 30k, it seems insurance companies are valuing much lower.
  5. Adrian flux or sky have always been competitive for me with an agreed value policy, worth a try mate!
  6. looks the same spec/milage etc. as mine, good to see they are fetching strong money at the minute and that this is staying in the club!
  7. If they're mint, I'll take these
  8. Same here today, only downside is it made me realise i've only covered 517miles since last year
  9. How about an fn2 shape 1.8 type s? My missus has one and its s brilliant car, great on fuel, massive inside and cheap to insure
  10. i suppose the only issue with ep3 type r's is that when they go wrong, a k20 costs a fortune. I remember about 7 years ago pulling an all nighter to swap an engine in my best mates prior to a germany trip... it was neither cheap nor fun! Good car though, great fun to drive, i'm perusing piston heads now, love this game
  11. i bet you aren't far of an ep3 type R at around 2k these days, albeit might be looking at a slightly more leggy one
  12. most decent airlines on long haul allow you to plug in laptops, who're you flying with?
  13. The spring seat should only be adjusted to adjust the preload on the spring. The height will be set by adjusting the damper into the lower mount of the strut hope this helps
  14. I can't offer much advice on the legal aspects, but I've had a pioneer last 10 years this September and while is showing signs of age, certainly shows its robustness. I'll be having another for sure [emoji106]
  15. Looking good Mark, I've got one of those boot mats in mine also, was great when I was using the car daily to avoid damage to the carpet! In all honest, in previous cars I've cut/had whipped some normal carpet to act the same, nice that these are tailored though!
  16. Genuinely have a big love for these. Watching eagerly for updates
  17. Thanks all! I need to crack on and get a few bits done on the car really... Could do with a new header tank, some new HID's and a new 6sp gear knob (not fond of my ARC Ti anymore) and potentially a wheel refurb... Fingers crossed over the next few weeks I'll get cracking!
  18. That's good going, parents had a 450h for 4 years and only recently traded it in. Lovely car for munching the miles in. Not a single issue in 4 years either
  19. Cheers Both! Thanks! It is yeah, its on HSD Monopro coilers with pillow ball top mounts, couldn't tell you how much by though They're not bad, they don't wear very fast and in all fairness, i bought them on forum recommendation. They seem good in the wet, however the traction unless warm from my point of view isn't brilliant through the rear tyres. Turn in is nice and planted, but the rears will spin in the dry in 2nd dependant on surface. Cheers Chris, its certainly appreciating in value which is nice to know Cheers mate, agreed! Cheers dude, nice to hear from someone in bodywork!
  20. Agree although not for 10k! 450h is a brilliant car
  21. Cheers mate, Im in Willenhall, between Wolverhampton, Walsall and Cannock, haven't seen any other Supras in a while so thats a plan! Demon Dents i think, its a painless dent removal guy locally. I've not actually had any paintwork on the car at all (none was done on import either) and as far as i can tell, it all looks factory so don't want to tarnish that if you know what i mean. The PDR guy did a great job though, i had 3 panels done at around £70 for the first panel and £30 each for the other two.
  22. Lovely choice. I like the regular updates (even if automated). Nice to see that they are looking after their customers when spending so much, customer service is ever decreasing these days so a massive plus point
  23. Each to their own... but i agree, stock body is for me Cheers Secretly... i think this is the reason... I had all of the door dings etc took out last year so there isn't a dint on the car at all. Pains me to leave it anywhere
