My other half has a golf V5 There is an issue with current ecu - she has bought a 2nd hand one off the internet but obviously current golf keys arnt coded to it, so car wont start. where can i get this done in surrey? i dont want a remap just flash the ecu so current keys will work on the car using the 2nd hand ecu, As current one has issues. anyone got good feedback from using a company? i pm'd you mate earlier today -sorry didnt get back to you sooner but have had alot on - just working out figures and economically the cupra isnt going to be good enough on fuel and really after an estate. - i do like the cupra's but i gotta be practical now lol ....damn cheers bud and again sorry didnt get back to you sooner, but with juggling moving house + work just aint had alot of time.

Hi guys, just wondering anyone know of a good/reliable place to get mondeo 2.0tdci zetec s 2003 remapped? as possibly a car has come up that im intrested in and reviews all say a remap is needed on these spec mondeo as over 60k miles or so, they can start to have fuel issues/bit smokey and running bit lumpy. how spacious is it in the back mate? could you possibly post pics of boot and back seats? (me being really picky, how much room with front seats all the way back)? Will be intrested on having a look - but need to sell my V5 before i can look into buying. Cheers

Engine managment light did come on about 6weeks ago - Went to my trusted garage and onto VW/Audi specialist, where the diagnostic tool stated throttle body, the throttle body was taken off and inspected and tested for over 2hours and there was no fault at all, The audi specialist said all it needed was a good clean up, as since new it had never been cleaned, so this is when i got my garage to clean it up and give the car a full service (spark plugs etc) and the car is running 100% Its a lovely car to drive and the interior is extremly comfy aswell as very good looking (recaro black leather seats) Im a genuine seller/person and i like to let people who are intrested in my car the full background of it. There is a couple of very minor blemishes on the car which i have taken picture of and stone chips on bonnet as the car is only used for motorway driving back and forth to work.
