  2. Cheers mate ill have a look and get in contact with chris. Yea i parked car in an alley whilst driving - with walls either side to bounce sound off. in neutral + clutch not being compressed sound is there and when reving it just more frequent (once i hit 3/4000revs it goes) when clutch compressed the sound totally goes. Cheers mate for your help really appreciate it fingers crossed - just want to make my supra mechanically sound + enjoy it
  3. cheers - any idea the best way to test/check. all i want is bring supra back to life (as good as new - well best i can get it) want it mechanically sound. Got any reliable contacts/buisness where i can get parts like this for the Supra ? Cheers

  5. 1 - It sounds like engine bay the humming noise (no idea if it can be fuel pump what should i check for this)? 2 - Noise deffinatly more on passengerside towards the front (owner before me replaced both rear shocks so unknown if that could be problem) once again what should i check? 3 - its both whilst driving + neutral for example: When at traffic lights in neutral and clutch is up (no gear selected) it will make the ticking noise. When clutch compressed/compressed during gear changes noise goes away......then once gear change complete when clutch is raised all the way up noise will start again. any ideas? or what i should check for? Cheers mate
  6. Hi all, got few questions: 1 - at idle (sitting at lights etc) when revs drop below 1000, the car starts to have a high pitch humming noise any ideas? 2 - very faint/slight knocking noise on straight road surface (slightly uneven) - but when going over speed humps there is nothing (maybe illiminating shock problems)? 3 - when clutch not compressed get a ticking/very faint grinding noise - when clutch compressed (changing gears etc) the noise goes away? Cheers all
  7. price for driver + passenger rubbers around windows (including rubbers around mini window for passengers? (if they are in good condition - Notgrey or weatherd) cheers

  9. its a standatd clutch/flywheel on 97NA- once warmed put for 2/3minutes on drive (as alwaysdo) it starts making noise. it stops as soon as compress clutch both in neutral + whilst changing gear. once clutch released or after changing gears (clutch pedal fully released) it starts again. in neutral after warmed up - if you give it slight more revs sound gets louder. Any help be appreciated cheers all
  10. just need some advice: recently bought 97 5speed NA supra. When clutch is compressed on idle + during gear changes clicking/tick stops. Once clutch released in neutral or gear change clicking starts and is getting louder? cheers All

  14. Hi all, im just wondering what is the largest J (width) alloy possible to fit on a standard supra front+back - with no rubbing etc when turning? Cheers all
  15. any chance you doing it for me then lol? cheers for your help mate
  16. i would love to do it myself but my knowledge is very limited/begginer (wish i had knowledge of most guys on this forum and do mods like this myself be much more satisfying) - but if done it i would prefer a trader/professional to do it as i no its been done 100% correct instead of me umming and rrring about it. what traders could do it and what am i ruffly looking at cash wise for a 5speed manual (even using a 2nd hand/recon gearbox) But if i was going to put a turbo conversion on it to make a NA-T would driveshafts/diff have to be changed then? cheers
  17. Cheers buddy, how much would it cost ruffly for a 5spd conversion? (ive heard need driveshafts/clutch pedal etc) as i just want a manual 5speed (dont really need 6speed as the car would stay either NA or have a single T conversion)
  18. cheers mate, do you know how much ruffly a company would charge?
  19. Hi all, being newbie just wondering. Is there anyway or anyone know what is needed to convert a Auto to a manual? What kind of price will it cost (if its possible) Cheers all
  20. Hi all, this is my first post. im currently in process of purchasing a 95 supra which started life as a NA 5speed - it was modified by adding boostlogic turbo kit/FMIC/HKS exhaust/manifold/upgraded ECU/upgraded clutch if i purchase it i would like to upgrade internals. just need some advice: 1 - upgrading pistons (what size are STD pistons) what size/make would people suggest? 2 - going to upgrade headgasket (what one)? 3 - want to upgrade injectors (which ones)? sorry for the 'newbie' post by i have a passion for these cars and joined supra club to boost my knowledge of performance mods and to ask you guys what would be the best + safest route to take for good performance but not pushing my engine to the edge. Cheers All
