  12. got car tracked/balanced - but steering still juddery over 50mph or so what could it be. i also maybe thing my wheels are rubbing i have 9J on fronts with standard springs/arches? on full lock it feels like a jerking movement - if so how much does arch rolling cost? Cheers guys
  13. cheers matey. cuz i machine polished the car and around edges taken some of paint off the silver badges - so looks a nit untidy in my eyes
  14. might seem stupid question guys - but im looking out for a pair of toyota badges for the soop. but all of them are much bigger than current ones - any idea where i can get the 'normal' size ones from? cheers guys or if anyone is selling after debadging
  15. Ive had enough of it lol if i get new clutch/flywheel + recon my gearbox that has got to sort it out right??
  16. release bearing ? mine is the other way around when clutch is not engaged there is the noise - indicating main shaft ware.
  17. How can this be fixed mate? what parts do i need? Cheers mate
  18. Hi all, i thought i had slight shaft ware in gearbox as i get a slight grinding sound when clutch is not engaged. Now 1 out of 5 times i go into first (stopping at lights etc) there is a 'clonk' sound + has slight vibration through car. does any one know what this could be? ...gearbox recon?... cheers
  19. Im looking into it at the moment - is the sound there continously or when your engage the clutch it goes away? Yea im looking at recon or new gearbox
  20. Im liking that idea...hmmm....it maybe on the cards
  21. Also another quick question peeps (slightly off topic) if i got a Decat are 02/lamdba sensors needed? Might sound absolutly stupid to some people - but put it down to 'your more clever than me' lol
  22. A cam thats going to make noticable difference to response/power of the car. Im just trying to gather as much info as i can to see the best route to take
  23. Yea i know to save money but in this case im gonna break it down: Put a TT engine in with everything i need for a full install- engine/looms/clutch/turbos etc ruffly £2000 (due to needing to upgrade clutch) Insurance - Extra £300 a year for engine swap Total = £2300 so far On top of that if i got a TT or NA-T i would have to get a 6speed (personal preference) having all that power but restricting to 5gears i couldnt do it = £300-£600 for gear box 2nd hand or recon Total so far = £2900 Then change my exhaust system for Flow needed by the TT = £400+ Total = £3300 I could go on to what i would want/need to do in my eyes if i went turbo - TT clocks - ignition wires etc.. Or do something different have a set amount of money to do up my NA (nowhere near £3k mark) and do it, if im happy leve out getting a turbo and be a proud/fast NA owner I like to be different and not do what everyone else does on a day to day basis 'go turbo' yes its the right thing to do if you want HIGH BHP but in my eyes whats the fun in knowing 'if i stick a turbo kit on i know full well its going to make 100+ more BHP' theres no project there.
  24. Hi ya peeps, just wondering since getting my supra/joining i have not been to any meets + would like to meet/get to know some of you guys + cars. is there any regular area events that go on? cheers
