yea i would deffo know....but it may be the start of it, as power is not as when i bought it so trying to get as much advice as possible and cancel everything out and try everything you guys can come up with

No negativa emotion here...i ask questions because i have not got the knowledge to know 'is there anything can be done to cure it' a straight answer saying 'theres no way apart from recon or new gearbox' i know i dont have as much knowledge as alot of people on here or for cars.....thats why i joined the forum and to be honest its actualy put me off the idea of joining a forum again if its like this one. when i had a astra every time i posted i got a reply you would expect...saying near enough a straight answer or people dicussing to come up with an answer.....i guess the more powerful car you get the more there are no it all's.....as everyone expects you to know everything i guess....so i obviously joined the wrong forum

Like i say what i could afford i bought it and also want to work on supra as a project - this is what i mean about slagging things off ..... not all been about gearboxes etc mate... on here for advice etc so lay off OK now I can see why you feel that everyone is slagging you off!! FACT the NA's gearbox is virtually bullet proof in an NA I'd be especially surprised to see one go in a 97 plate which is why TT auto owners are interested in sticking them in their cars. You'll find that jumped up attitudes gets sh*t thrown at you. Ask a nice question you'll get a nice answer. Look for digs in any post and you'll find it. Lets start from fresh. I'm sorry for poking your open wound. Try being a bit less sensitive and you'll find a wealth of expertise that you can use to achieve your aims. to some people they find it a stupid question and to others its not....if you find it a stupid question dont comment....if you can help leave one. My gearbox has main shaft ware and i asked for advice (if its going , its going ...theres nothing else i could do to stop that) so to me its not a stupid question

took words right out my mouth branners - ive saved up along time to be able to afford a NA and spent a very long time and effort getting to back to how it should be (still not there) as needs recon gearbox/steering rack etc.....and guys who have money and can afford loads of things and get it all done in click of a finger thats fair enough but think of people who dont have that and cant do it .

Like i said its not just 'ow he done this' its just in general that i would like help and anybody nice enough to help id really appreciate it, but people just keep having digs and its getting extremly annoying. Its not aimed at anyone its a general overlook on NA threads

so if it was TT loosing power or 'my 600bhp supra losing power' i doubt that would get slagged off and people would go out there way to help. There should be a split of the forum named 'Deep pocket supra owners only'

yes i understand that mate......but im bringing up this rant because there is having the odd joke and then at least 1 out of 2 threads posted etc there are few people who just give stupid comments....i do agree we should have a seperate NA + turbo forum because then everyone is on the same wave length and we will actually get the help me need without having our 'pride and joys' slagged off

Ok last thread i done in mkiv techniqual about loss in power of NA ...2 people on there just made cheap commens...but whilst homer helped me out it seemed the posts of me replying to them and the others posted had gone....and to me as homer a MOD he has taken them off

yes i have an aim to get more power in the end, but when i can afford it i will do it, but in mean time im asking for help.....i understand jokes etc but after a while of asking for help and people keep putting cheap comments in , its just pointless. but like i said getting to a Single T or TT would be great but it wont be for a long while yet and im asking advice on my current NA to learn from you guys 'who want to help others' so i can learn and in the future be able to save up and get the power i want , understanding everything that needs to be done to achieve the power

yea there is joking i can take that ...but when your asking for help and people on here just go 'pff a NA what a surprise' and thats it.....i dont post on theres, 'ow yours only running at 500bhp mine is running at 600bhp' its just pointless and after a while its getting extremly frustrating wanting help and all other people do is slag you off because you dont have a TT.

Im sorry ive not been on here long and 50% of information ive had because i post up problems with my NA supra is 'ow what a surprise supra NA with power loss' I joined the owners club because i have a supra im proud of and would like help/advice on here, but most time i just get people slagging off like some 'posh boys' who have loads cash. 'haha a NA pfff i have a TT'. I really suggest people on here help each other and if you have a bad thing to say dont say it at all. People have to realise not everyone has large amounts of money and afford a TT....i worked my ass off for my supra , and had enough of the digs just because i cant afford a TT. so in future please lay off!!

Over past month or so it seems my supra is loosing power. For instance i tested it by after pulling off from the lights and put my foot to the floor and there was no pull until it hit 5/6000rpm ...when it used to kick in at 3/4000rpm? also on idle there is a high pitch humming sound which i dont have a clue where its coming from. is there anyway of flushing the engine etc? or what can be done to improve the pull? To be honest my gearbox has main shaft ware and my clutch wil need replacing soon would this have anything major to do with the power it puts out? Cheers peeps

if finance possible would put my 97 Jspec on as deposit That supra is very similar of what i picture in my head , what i want mine too look like.....only if i had the money lol!
