  1. At first I thought it was a poor man's version of the TRD wings.
  2. Given the number of people who seem to be interested in this? Surely worth asking a company to produce one and do a group buy to make it worth their while? My intention when the time comes, if there are no units out there, was to enquire about the possibility of having it re-cored.
  3. Is it not possible to see where the original holes holes were by looking on the inside of the bumper?
  4. A perfect reason why anyone considering buying one now should consult the owners community before doing so. The advert is full of made up stuff and misinformation I don't know what 200 cars they are talking about; it's not Silver cars, it's not auto's, it's not 1994 cars or a combination of any of these. 200 cars brought over on a particular boat maybe that they have some long lost shipping records for? And that underside, it may have been dry stored recently but it doesn't look like it's been prepped for storage and prior to that has been somewhere damp. God know what those stickers are or that weird aerial thing on the back which you can see rubs on the roof every time you open the boot and that bolster looks worse than mine at 80k miles. At least they haven't hidden the underside, would have been quite easy to cover with underseal etc and hide it all.
  5. Surely the button itself is not complicated to reproduce, it's the harness that I thought would be the main issue?
  6. Now don't forget it! Maybe consider having a tattoo
  7. On second thought, you could on the old forum as we didn’t have a contact support function which we have on this forum. I know Mawby wanted to keep the software as close to off the shelf as possible and didn’t want to make any mods if he could help it. I will mention it anyway.
  8. There’s still the option of group buys for one offs and hobbyist membership too, as long as this isn’t what he does for a living. I should have mentioned the other options as well, so apologies. I am pretty sure there are different levels of trader membership too, but not 100%. @Josh42

    Emissions

You have to think that the additional emissions from modified cars pales in comparison to the genuinely knackered bangers spewing vast clouds of black smoke out? As ever, just focusing on the easy targets rather than the real problems.
  10. Most modern units will send you a notification when they need recharging.
  11. I understand your frustration but it’s personal data, it isn’t politics, it’s the law. I get first hand how it can feel like I am being unhelpful as I’ve also hit some road blocks with gathering information on the UK spec supra’s for the register. I am sorry that you want to leave, if you change your mind we’d love to have you back.
  12. I completely appreciate that and I if I could I would, without appearing to be awkward I can't give out any details of the email as I have no way of knowing you are the actual owner of that account.
  13. I can't tell you what email you used for GDPR/security reasons however, I can send a password reset and you can check your email inboxes.
  14. Apologies for the delay. As below. Correct
  15. There's no hiding that we need traders to support the club financially but requiring traders to apply and be approved is purely in the interest of members. The world is full of unscrupulous individuals and cowboys as I am sure every knows, so adding a financial cost deters a lot of those kinds of people. Having people apply to be a trader also makes sure we don't have too many people selling the same thing whilst promoting healthy competition, that would discourage traders from sticking around. Benefit members in having more options - Definitely, we want to diversify the kind of traders we have rather than them all selling the same sort of thing! The needs of members is always changing so we want traders to adapt to that.
  16. Sorry to be the forum bore but I’ve hidden the response. Happy for Gareth to contact a mod to enquire about becoming a trader.
  17. Buttons are selling for silly money now and are very rare, so if you're not bothered about it being an OEM button, I would see if you could get a similarly sized one from something else or see if you get one 3D printed if you go down that route.
  18. Hats off to everyone involved and shows great spirit in the classic car community. https://bit.ly/3uqIOte?fbclid=IwAR0HbaASEOxwls1aSkYFQzLNn1u3QPIe9dNFLFtlUJatWOQd-LFIuPEwKnE See a supra in the cover photo, well done whoever you are! Looks like the Facebook cover photo is different to the web version, so copied it below.
  19. Would have made an epic road trip though
  20. I think there was a white one running a single on a stock ECU that @keron had many moons ago.
  21. Someone, somewhere will but it. Your market of potential buyers is very small so unless you catch someone at the right time, it will probably take a while to sell. Lovely car though and I think it is worth the price tag given the mileage.
  22. On a side note, do you take the Cossie out much?
  23. Morons. They live amongst hiding in plain sight

    Euro Car Parts

Sadly now, the only way to get a resolution sometimes is to post a bad review or a complaint in a public place, either an online review or on their social media.
