  1. As mentioned in the other thread, can you please pop a price on as per the selling rules.
  2. If nothing seems to be amiss then it is most likely an electrical gremlin somewhere. I would be inclined to say that there is a short circuit somewhere given the oil level and handbrake have nothing to do with each other.
  3. Long time no see Josh! Can you pop a price on the both this and the other sale ad please, in line with the selling rules.

  5. The car needed work as it had quite a crusty underside and it was bought by a dealer. So if they put the work in restoring it which is going to be a good few grand even without their labour costs, then it might be worth something near that price.

    F1 2022!!!!!

Mercedes reacted too slowly and cost Hamilton a P6 finish with the VSC, it's going to a bit tough season and it Ferrari's to lose I think.

    F1 2022!!!!!

Reliability is going to be a deciding factor this year for sure. Enjoyed the battle between Max and Charles plus, everyone in the pack was having a fight with teams they could only have dreamed of last year. Looking forward to an exciting season.
  8. Not sure if anyone will recognise the reg but it was exported back in 2010, so isn't in the UK anymore. Unfortunately could be anywhere in the world right now, sorry that's not the news you wanted to hear.
  9. Just bumping this with some additional guidance. 1. A basic level of decency is expected, if you agree a sale then change your mind then tell the other party. 2. Transparent sales, no Dutch auctions or shady pm bidding wars 3. This is not eBay 4. If you are advertising on multiple platforms then it is your responsibility to keep all threads up to date.
  10. All looking good Darren, looking forward to more updates!

Must say I have missed all the pre season due to other commitments. Not even had a chance to watch drive to survive yet! Need to catch up.

It’s no surprise given the only reason he had a seat is because he bought it with his dads sponsorship which is now gone.
  13. I guess any surface getting hot enough can undergo the same chemical reaction? I am not a chemist so I have no idea
  14. Rotten egg smell (Sulphur Dioxide) is a by product of fuel getting to the catalytic converter, so ties in with the over fuelling.
  15. Personally I think that didn't have anything to do with it. Given the price these are fetching now and the potential money pit they can be for a bad egg, people want more than a few distant pictures and what looks like a copy and paste from wikipedia for the description. I think you get what you put in with adverts like that, people need to think hard about what they would want to see if they were buying their car. Pictures of the underside and a proper description with details about parts replaced and service history would have generated more interest.
  16. Where have you read the correct PSI? Was it from the iDrive settings / tyre pressure monitor? Have you changed any setting since getting the car, specifically sport/dynamic/eco setting? I'm guessing it has the same system as my 1 series and it recommends different pressure settings depending on which mode you are in. I swapped my car over to eco mode and all the pressure lights came on, saying they should be like 45psi and they were only 32psi until I realised why. Switched it back to dynamic and they all went off.
  17. Saved someone a potential money pit. Literally a copy and paste advert less than a week later for £30k more. No photos of bolster wear or the underside, deliberately misleading people about the overall condition. Happy to dedicate time to sinking the sale
  18. Awaiting my comments to be deleted
  19. I've helped them out by linking to the Bonhams auction for some more pictures
  20. Wonder how the war will affect crypto?
  21. Lots of short journeys (getting in and out a lot) could explain the wear, also if it's been moved about in storage a lot. Given the state of the rest of the car, it's also a strong possibility the seats haven't had any kind of protection or treatment to keep them in good condition.
  22. MOT history is pretty comprehensive and backs up the mileage.
  23. Completely agree, some peoples idea of dry storage is a garage or a barn with no ventilation and an untreated/unpainted concrete floor. I don't think people realise how much damp comes up through concrete which effectively is a wick for moisture. People also just think sealing up the garage is a good idea with no understanding of how ventilation works, making the rusting problem worse. There is a reason why dry storage facilities charge a small fortune.

As of today Michael Masi is no longer race director, the right decision for the sport. And the unlapping procedure behind the safety car is undergoing a full review.
