  1. For the first time in my life I’m going to say that would look better without the spoiler.
  2. Wow I think this is a stark reminder to look past the shiny paint and look deeper. These cars are over 2 decades old now so rust is only going to become a bigger issue for cars that haven't had a rebuild. Keep up the good work !
  3. The camera on the wife's sportage and the one on my cee'd are really good. But I think you might be better off getting one from a van as I assume they would have a wider angle lens for you wide rear
  4. This. Which is why I asked if you had a UK car. The cooler and pump set up was only installed on UK / EU cars and the light as far as I am aware was only those cars.
  5. Glad it was an easy fix thanks for sharing, hopefully someone else will find this useful in the future.

Hi and welcome to the club
  8. I’ll let you off as the search function isn’t the best but it’s been posted many many times before but nice to have a bump.
  9. Yes was going to revisit this after lack of interest last time. When the weather gets better I think it would be nice to get a regular meet happening maybe once a month.
  10. Hi, I am not sure whether it is the clutch or flywheel that is causing my problems. I have a rattle when pulling away at low speeds, when slowing down at lower speeds with engine breaking and it is also evident when I turn the car off where I get a clatter. Now in higher gears (5 and 6) under full load I get slipping and rev spiking. The ratting is definitely the flywheel and I also read that it can cause slipping when it is dying. But obviously slipping at higher gears under load is also the start of the clutch dying. Is there anyway to work out which one it is or is it as I fear both ?
  11. I think that’s more it just getting through than them taking it as it is effectively transporting a bomb.
  12. Reg number ? I can check the register for you.
  13. I definitely can’t make it unfortunately
  14. Glad that you are saving the car and not giving up ! Do cars registered in Northern Ireland need to be registered at the DVLA or are they part of the same database ?
  15. No difference they were the same for all cars and are a staggered setup.
  16. Might have been in an accident as there's loads of new parts at the front, it has been resprayed, the drivers airbag is gone, the passenger airbag cover is raised so expect this has deployed as well and to say its done 26k those front seats look knackered even if it has been sat for 12 years !
  17. That was on ebay a while ago as I have it on the register but it was being sold by someone in Switzerland I think. All the photo's are recycled from that ad and is still showing as exported. Check the first photo, I am pretty sure Basingstoke doesn't have a mountain range
  18. A pat on the back for anyone that can sucessfully identify this reg
  19. Incredible and mental at the same time
  20. I don't like the look personally but a decent set of wheels would improve it tenfold as those wheels look gash
