  1. Mines in an alarmed integral garage all the time so not an issue for me. What’s their agreed value process like?
  2. Agreed value is £28000, garaged while at home and on a limited mileage of 3000 a year.
  3. It’s that time of year again, anyone recently insured a standard Supra with an agreed value. Who have you got quotes from? Who did you go with and how much was it? Currently Lancaster insurance, they matched my quote from last year which was £218 with agreed value.

    Hello

    Welcome to the club
  5. You might have bought it 6 months ago but Toyota haven’t been making parts for the Supra for a very long time. The seal is probably over 20 years old and has been sat in a warehouse somewhere.
  6. From the stuff I could find it appears to be the condition of the seal itself which happens over time and going through heat cycles. I can’t find any examples of this happening to new seals but it depends how and where this has been stored for the last 20+ years.
  7. On the first point, yes it will continue to accrue interest in the holiday period which will get added to the total mortgage amount. Something worth considering for those thinking about this option but for a lot of people this will be the difference between losing their homes, so a small price to pay in the long run.

    Mot

Have a good look at Italy, we will go the same way. People can’t be trusted to make the right decision so the government will have to make it for them. Can’t believe the scenes on the tube this morning, people are so stupid.
  9. I think it’s part of the plan to introduce one. Keeps asking people to do the right thing so when he does impose one it will be because there was no other choice. Less push back and rioting.

    Car Shampoo

I’ve finally made it through my meguiars nxt shampoo and need to buy some more but I was wondering what people recommend? I could also do with a recommendation for something to clean the daily with. I do lots of miles so it needs washing a lot so could do with something I can buy in bulk that’s not going to cost the earth!
  11. It’s not just about mileage with fluids, they degrade over time so should be replaced regardless of mileage at the manufactures specified intervals.
  12. When I spoke to Toyota UK they confirmed to me that there were 624 sold in the UK.
  13. Couple hundred miles a year now. Averaged about 1200 miles a year in my nearly 10 years ownership.
  14. This is a great trip and always a good laugh. If I wasn’t already going to the Spanish Grand Prix I’d have snapped up a ticket. Plus I’m already going there in June
  15. Welcome to the club. Pop some pictures up when you can

    Hello

    Welcome to the club.
  17. Hi Lee, What do you class as slow to react? We don’t get an instant notification when threads are reported so unless people sit on the forum all day there will be a delay in a thread being reported and it being removed. Those of us who don’t work for ourselves or at a holiday camp have core work hours and are not able to do things that are not work related ( I mean they are paying us to do work and they expect us to be working, crazy right!!) so we have to wait till lunch time to be able to browse the forum. I think sometimes people think that we have contracted hours and shift patterns monitoring the forum which I’m sorry to burst people’s bubble is not the case. Inevitably due to the law of averages there are times when we will all be doing something at the same time that is not forum related. I personally have spent a good few hours this week deleting spam accounts that never got a chance to post and also in deleting the wave of crap that does manage to get through. The posts that get reported represent a small fraction of the ones that get posted and removed before people even get a chance to see them. I guess if people don’t see it happening it hasn’t happened.... but I personally don’t feel the need to keep a tally or make a public announcement every time I do something to better the forum. Mike
  18. What was the error ? Might be helpful for those also looking to sell to the states.

    Tyres

Goodyear Eagle F1's here too. The set I have on now have Dunlop SP Sport 9000's which are ok but not as good as the Eagle F1's in my opinion.
  20. Yeah MOT check works for me too. Keron had this at one point I believe so for those interested in it might be worth giving him a call. Depends how good his memory is though!
  21. Hi Zak I have raised this for you. To get the ball rolling when did you pay for your membership ?
  22. There is a light the same as the one around the ignition barrel that illuminates around the key hole
