  1. I'm surprised at the results, I didn't think there'd be that many at 15+ year which account for a 3rd of those in the poll.
  2. 100%. With todays current Supra owners I'd imagine it will be time related rather than mileage, so every 12 months. 3K could be 10 years worth of mileage for some people

£138,453.67 at the current exchange rate! Basically how much a UK manual will be worth next year with inflation
  4. Probably because most parts sent from Amayama's Japanese warehouse are sent via ship and the preferred shipping route goes via the Suez canal.
  5. Oil technology is, just like most things, improving all the time so there may be some new jazzy oil's on the market. I haven't see anything lately, but owners do so little mileage these days that as long as you use a decent oil brand, I don't think it really makes a difference. Obviously that changes if you are running increased power, built engine or you do mega miles. Warming the car up and cooling it down properly are arguably more important to avoid engine damage or excess wear than spending £100 on fancy oil.
  6. I think what you are trying to say is that it soaks up the bumps well and requires a sturdy stomach
  7. When you say big power, what are you looking for? 600, 800, 1000? Top speed monster or a street supra with fast spool?
  8. Wow you must have took it off the road not long after we last met! Glad it’s back on the road we will definitely have to organise something local again.

No worries, you can drop @Josh42 a pm, he can look into getting you setup as a hobbyist if you want to offer this as a service to members If this is just a one off to help a member out then that's fine and of course part of the community spirit.

Whilst we are fully supportive of members helping each other out, if this is what you do for a living then you need to be a trader.
  11. 62 UK Manuals left here, but assume it's probably slightly less. Just waiting for the updated end of year figures to be released by the DfT at the end of May.
  12. I know, can't believe how long I have had it! Only done 17,000 in mine, so I definitely need to get out more
  13. You sir, ask too much of me. I remember all the exciting stuff whilst certain aspects don’t make the cut.
  14. Keep posting and don’t forget to vote in the poll. I’m waiting for someone to say 28 years and be one of first to buy one!
  15. Current record holder! That is an incredible time to own a car.
  16. Not anymore due to the kind soul above. I was there that day on Dragonball, where he got a flat then put the space spacer on the back and proceeded to drive like he stole it at break neck speed. Lucky he didn't kill himself or anyone for that matter, prime example of where perception far out weighed talent. With the resulting angry crowd, he's lucky he didn't get tied to a tree and left in Holland! He didn't look so Rockstar when he was getting a shakedown from Jon in the middle of the carpark
  17. I suppose! I'm betting that the majority of owners will be toward the latter end of the scale.
  18. I did one of these threads pretty much 9 years ago to the day! How long have you owned your current Supra, we are talking continuous ownership of a single car. Make sure you vote in the poll and feel free to post too I'll start, owned my car for over 10 years now.
  19. Hi and welcome to the club. It's always nice to see one being brought back to life rather than vultured for parts! Looking forward to the restoration should you reach an agreement with the current owner.
  20. Saw this on Facebook, when the time comes for me to replace mine I doubt there will be any new arms left so this will be a great solution and possibly the only one!
  21. Where would you look to see if they have solid fundamentals and good marketing. Sorry if that’s a really obvious thing!
  22. I haven't seen anything below 5k for a while, I would of thought you'd be a looking at north of 10k even for something that needs work.
  23. What kind of money do people invest in this? Do you need to be investing lots i.e. £1000+ to see any real gain or is there money to be made for smaller/novice investors that only want to trade in small amounts i.e. less £100?
