looks really good mate I know how hard it is to keep a black looking its best. IMO if you don't already have it is to get some tyre wall black from which ever manufacturer you prefer it will complete the car !!

I'm not going to scrimp I will be getting a new one am going to go down to Toyota and see how much they want was just looking for a ball park figure for prices.

Sorry didn't make it clear in my first post that it is the cooler that was leaking all along but the place I took it too changed the pipes first and it appeared to stop leaking, but this was because the pump only comes on when the fluid is hot and they obviously didn't driver it long enough to get the pump on to build up the pressure, if that makes sense

Its only a small leak but I don't think its worth chancing it by driving to Newcastle and back though

A while back I had a problem with a leak with the diff cooling system then got some new pipes and it sorted it or so I thought. The pump for the diff only comes on when the fluid is at temperature and I don't usually do long journeys so the pump never comes on. Did a long journey yesterday and when I got back parked the supe up and went to sleep (COD first ). Got up this morning and wouldn't you know there is a tiny patch of gear oil sitting underneath the cooler. It is leaking in the same place as before so DNK you were right it was the cooler as all the pipes have been replaced I have taken my cars to a local trusted garage (close friend of the family) but obviously the supe is a bit more specialist and he didn't know the pump only worked when warm. So questions: 1. Running out of diff oil = dead diff or worse? 2.Drawbacks of cutting the cooler out of the equation? 3. Where is the cheapest place to get a new diff? 4.Where is a trusted supe specialist close to chesterfield? 5. I take this means going to Newcastle tonight is a big NO NO?

Note the small print "(compared to the previous day’s price)" Whats betting they are going to bump the prices up the day before. This is what supermarkets do so they can say something is half price, they bump the price up just before it goes on offer.
