    Ultra Marathons

Very true though, once you hit the wall and move through it, it gets easier. The initial part of the run is the hardest.
  2. Saw a set of door cards up for a 1000 euros the other month!

I think you need to tell my legs that

    Ultra Marathons

I've done a few 10k's but nothing long distance for a while. Always wanted to do a Marathon but never got the motivation to do the months of prep!
  5. Lots of people ditch the spoiler in favour of a FMIC, so cars with the loom may have had it from the factory?
  6. I think I got the "meat" when it was £0.21. Although I am only a small fry in the grand scheme of things so I made enough money to pay for a tank of fuel
  7. Damn, told the wife I'd sell the car when it equals what's left on the mortgage. Might be sooner than I thought

    Wheels

Rough idea of size and width? Is it for a stock bodied car? Or is it wide bodied or had the arches rolled?
  9. I'd like to the think the driver but in reality probably the guard
  10. I feel the next time I take the car out, I'll need armed personnel Reminds of a recent video I saw of armed robbers trying to take an armoured car in South Africa. I honestly will be scared to drive it if the value crack 6 figures!
  11. There is input from all of the team, not just me. @mawby @Steve are always in the background fixing technical things, @Josh42 is working with hobbyists and traders to inject more vitality into the forum and the rest of us are on here and doing things that aren't visible to everyone. There's the club email to monitor, there's the contact us section of the forum (The new home viagra spammers), some manual account moderation still has to happen and more. Which based on the fact we all have full time jobs, families, hobbies, some of the team run their own businesses, means that we can't be on everyday and spend endless hours trawling every single post on the forum. Post edits don't appear in the activity feed, so would the expectation that someone looks at every post every day in the classifieds to see if there has been an edit? You mentioned that mods don't add much regular content to the forum but we shouldn't just be adding content for the sake of content. If your activity feed is just full of "I had beans for breakfast" added just for the sake of posting, people will just stop coming. I'd rather have a dozen interesting posts than 30 posts of pointless drivel.
  12. I don't think there is a limit, I suppose the only limit would be to help with consistency of moderation to forum content. There was some work done on re-establishing active events mods last year but there hasn't been much point doing anything else yet as there is still lots of uncertainty on whether any events will even go ahead this year. When we are in a more stable place and the organisers commit to putting on shows, more people have been vaccinated etc then we will have a look again at the events mod team. It's worth saying that you don't need to be an events mod to set up an event or local meet, I did see Shane's post but as with most meets they are the other end of the country from me and I can't commit to that date. If anyone wants to setup an event or local meet etc but needs guidance or help then there is a huge knowledge base from mods and members to help them to do that.
  13. Yeah if you could just add sold next to it and if someone still calls then you can use that opportunity to cross sell
  14. Hi Keron, Just popped the sold prices back in as per the forum rules, this is to help future buyers and sellers.
  15. Prices should stay in all for sale and sold adverts regardless of what status you have. The new forum only saves edit history for the last 30 days even for moderators, so if it isn't reported or noticed by a mod then we will not be able to change it back. I am not sure if this is a changeable setting but I believe it is there for GDPR purposes and also to reduce backup sizes. I have amended the ones that have been highlighted but some of the edits are more than 30 days old so there is nothing we can do about them.
  16. No tracker required by Lancaster either
  17. @Pudsey moved as requested, looking forward to seeing updates. Love a V8 rumble
  18. No cheating, continuous ownership of a single car Don’t forget to post in the poll
  19. Depending on what and how much you are buying, you will most likely have to pay duty as well as VAT. Sometimes it works out cheaper but the hidden costs soon mount up until there’s not really much in it.
