as long as you pay a lump sum there are no charges, don't think it works for monthly as there is an admin fee.

That doesn't sound good at all, I have a rattly flywheel but it doesn't sound anywhere near that bad. I think you are right about it being the box. Does it have the correct oil in? When was it last changed?

+1 agree with that, I got the manual purely for the rarity. Both have there good points but for the daily grind an auto is easier to live with.

I think the reason is the millions it would cost to create the nationwide infrastructure that would make it viable. New pumps, new storage at petrol stations, new lorries, new refineries (modifying existing ones) and getting it here in the first place !! In the current climate it is not really a sensible way to be spending public money tbh.
