  1. Just to provide closure to this topic, I managed to track down the owner and they have confirmed via the VIN plate that this left the factory as 202 black. A green UK car never existed. Myth busted.
  2. Just as an FYI, not sure you can post it with the Airbag for obvious reasons.
  3. Great to see another car being restored. From the bonnet and bumper fitment, plus the engine pic, looks like it might have had front end damage?
  4. Oh, very interesting. Either Admin cock up or cyber attack?
  5. Didn't sell, relisted to start tonight.
  6. I have receipts for the full system when one of the previous owners had it replaced, it was something ridiculous like £1000 for all the various hoses and bits. You will either see some sell them for a few quid because they don't see any worth in them or they will be a few hundred from someone who is on a profiteering mission. However I am almost certain that this part was shared with other Toyota models of the era.
  7. I think the future of replacement parts will be in 3rd party providers making alternatives or reengineering existing parts.
  8. It all depends on what else it fits, if it is specific to the supra or not many cars that did have it are around, then I highly doubt we will see any more. Especially in todays economic climate, if they don't shift enough volume and make a reasonable profit, it will quickly get ditched to save money on production cost which for small batches will be costly per unit.
  9. It would be really helpful whoever you go with to share the Agreed Value you get. I am in the process of having mine agreed and when I do, I will share.
  10. @chaoticentity @rider Andy is not a trader at the moment, he is talking with Josh about the potential of becoming one. If he decides he wants to apply to become a trader, we will put the proposal to members to vote on as per the new trader process. In the meantime mysterious ghostly spectres will cast and impenetrable shadow over any comments advertising services. Ghost Busters over and out
  11. That's brave! I'd be wanting some kind of sturdy mesh to make sure it didn't get pierced by are projectiles. Perfect height for road debris.
  12. I hope your welding skills are on point Ingenious bit of kit.
  13. Watched an episode on Shaun Attwell who was a Ecstasy king pin in the states. Spied a white TT in the credits, he used to out run under cover police apparently.
  14. Amazing, over 50% have had theirs for 10 years plus! Don't forget to vote in the poll.
  15. Well it is past the watershed....
  16. Damn, did we get the rota mixed up? I thought I was doing the graveyard shift?
  17. Doesn't surprise me to be honest.
  18. I know of quite a few cars that have been SORN for over a decade, so I wouldn't worry about it! But that is good stint

    MK4 tt

Also has it had any major jobs done? Fuel / brake hard lines, suspension renewed, Valve stem seal etc
  20. And once the precedent has been set, that then becomes the market value.

Yep totally get that, whilst targets and goals can be motivational, you need to make sure you don't lose sight of why you are doing it. To keep in shape, for mental wellbeing or for a marathon etc Having a sense of achievement is important to keeping motivated which you tend to lose if you keep moving the goal posts further down the road to often.

    Ultra Marathons

Also depends what your motivation is, distance or time? For distance you are a little more relaxed because you can run a slightly slower pace to eek out energy reserves, time chasing is a lot tougher as you're constantly checking to make sure your keeping up the pace and can become demotivated if it starts to slip off, having to push harder to make up the time.
