  1. What can I say, I like sticking my oar in
  2. braided lines are always a worthwhile upgrade as they don't expand like the standard lines do.
  3. possibly air in the brake fluid? What about excessive heat in the fluid i.e boiling it
  4. It impedes the air flow through the engine bay, it probably won't ever overheat but the engine bay temp won't be as low as if you had a side mount. The air will take the path of least resistance which is to go around the FMIC but the stock SMIC uses differences in air pressure to force air through the inter-cooler making it also more efficient than FMIC. Obviously a SMIC will have its efficiency range when a FMIC becomes more efficient due to its bigger surface area. But core design plays a massive part in the efficiency of any inter-cooler, so a decent SMIC will be better than a cheap FMIC.
  5. Using a FMIC ruins the airflow through the engine bay, stick with SMIC unless going for big power.
  6. It doesn't have a veilside kit ..... Rear bumper, front bumper, spats, skirts and spoiler are all OEM.
  7. Structural bracing I think is a lot more important than lowering the cars emissions....
  8. Toyota wouldn't have put it there unless it needed it. My advice is get a brace fabricated with a curve in it so it clears your new exhaust position.
  9. I would have to agree with you there but I probably wouldn't have put it so bluntly.
  10. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?155810-Dash-Lights...-What-do-they-all-mean blown bulb warning, loose cable to one of the bulbs probably if its gone back off.
  11. What the hell is everyone on about, this has nothing to do with the original thread. It was a challenging discussion now it has turned into mindless drivel. As Duncan Bannatyne would say "For that reason, I'm out"
  12. you have just bought a fast rear wheel drive car, it has been made faster with modifications, it is in a high insurance group, you are in one of the highest risk groups and you have no NCB (nobody is interested in named driver NCB) of your own.... I'm surprised you got a quote at all
  13. Isn't faith just blind trust of something that may or may not be right.
  14. Threads like this always annoy me as it is full of misinformed views and uneducated crap. Christians have killed more muslims than the other way round, thousands were butchered in the crusades by Christian extremists. So who are you as Christians to complain about extremists when you are worse for it than muslims are ? It just annoys me that many innocent people die or are corrupted by twisted individuals using religion to justify there means. You'd think after all the wars started by religion that we would have learned by now. It just worries me that all the tension between the west and the far east is going to come to a big end one day. I personally am not religious in anyway or part of any extremist group.. apart from the supra owners club
  15. are you sure? Looks like an evo 7 to me
  16. I'd love to be able to do that !! Bet it will be the ultimate sleeper.
  17. You should start a project thread and take pictures of all the work you are doing.
  18. Is there a coloured dye type thing similar to what they use to find leaks in AC systems ?
  19. No problem, if it was everyone would be doing it.
  20. they use two smaller callipers on the same side not two big ones on either side
  21. I know its a great little car, I am going to run it on a 50-50 mix of oil and diesel. I bet if I told the previous owner how much it cost me to fix he would kick himself !! I love working on cars even if I don't know much, I gave it a full service and did everything myself. It so much more satisfying doing it yourself as you get a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge that it has been done properly.
