  1. Are you sure he put it all in ? Or maybe he has just pocketed the rest for himself ? My bet is he put the right amount in and has kept the rest of the oil to use on other cars.
  2. hi and welcome to the club.
  3. I think he means sequential TT as opposed to TTC
  4. VAUXHALL ASTRA - 1991 to 1998 - Covers all models except diesel engines *£5* I'll have that please
  5. having too much oil is as bad as having too little, it can and will wreck an engine. I would not run it at all and drain all the oil out. You can put the oil you drained out back in if its brand new. Put about 3 litres then top up allowing time for all the oil to get to the sump and checking the dipstick after each top up.If the level doesn't change run the engine for about 5 mins then turn off and allow about 15 mins to let the oil return to the sump. He must be the most retarded mechanic I have ever heard of as an oil change is like one of the easiest and most basic things to do on a car !!!

  21. Adjustable suspension was designed for motorsport use and hence was designed to be constantly adjusted. Not adjusting them for any period of time isn't good as they will just seize on, best way to stop this happening is to adjust them and clean them up every 3 or 4 months to keep them in top shape.
