I have been away for about 3 weeks but when I left I didn't have a chance to put the trickle charger on the car. When I got back the battery was flat to the point there was no alarm or any lights on the dash at all. I hooked it up to the trickle charger for a day and when I came back to it the fob didn't work so I had to use the key. Got in and it started up no problem but the red security light was illuminated constantly. Took the car out for a drive to a friends parents wedding party, parked it up for about 5 hours when I got back the alarm still didn't work and the light was illuminated still. Used the key to open and drove home. I assume I need to re sync the fob how do I do this? Note the alarm has not gone off at any point unlike other threads I have read on the subject.

Does having your car undersealed prevent this?

Some very experienced members on here have told you to use mechanical gauges to get a definitive answer, you could save yourself a lot of hassle and just do what they said.
