  1. The astra paid for itself in 4 months in what it saved me in fuel not running the supra. Plus I can go places now and not have to spend ages looking for a nice parking space to then worrying if somebody will door it.
  2. Isn't that double what you are supposed to put in them?
  3. I don't think we will ever know what truly happened as we weren't there and there is only one eye witness who was not impartial.
  4. I think he only wants to leave it for a couple of months I don't think I could not drive it for a couple of months never mind 5 years !!!
  5. I was under the impression it was a bad idea to keep turning it on letting it idle and if you wanted to turn it on you should take it for a run. For me its; 1.Service 2.Clean 3.Leave hand brake off 4.Leave out of gear (level drive way) 5.Put on trickle charger 6.Put on cover 7.Bring it out when the weather improves As for flat spots these if you get them will be run off in a matter of miles not really worth the hassle of putting on stands IMO.
  6. I can't complain but its very rare I listen to the radio, I've got my Ipod with my chooonssss on
  7. Oh if you count retrofitted ones then there are quite a few, I thought you were just interested in ones that came from the factory.
  8. Why don't you just try and see if it fits? If not then sell it, simples. They didn't make that may of them so getting a reply I think is going to be a long shot but good luck.
  9. He said he overtook him on the slip road itself and then pulled out into the middle lane. My best guess is when he hit the white lines whilst changing lanes it caused the car to lose traction and let the back end "step out" and the rest as they say is history.
  10. Is this any different to the standard one?
  11. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?256203-Falken-fk452-rubbish!!!!
  12. Wow nice guy ..... I am not getting into a debate over this as your not worth wasting precious oxygen over but I never said I don't speed but I didn't expect you to read properly what had been posted. I was only commenting that doing nearly twice the speed limit on back roads to the point you were losing control was highly irresponsible and dangerous. But your mentality and attitude to it was callous and I got the feeling you couldn't care less if you hit someone. We have all stretched the cars legs a bit but there are times and places to do so but I deem your judgement to be poor at when this is. Have a nice life I hope I never have to meet you
  13. That made me laugh !! Great quote
  14. If you run a lower profile tyre you would be able to fit the 285's on, but you should check a tyre calculator to see which is the best one so your speedo isn't too far out
  15. Very nice, I actually like that colour with the wheels and stripes it just sort of works
  16. Yep its storm blue, indeed a lovely colour. It looks like it just came out of the factory, it must have been very loved in its previous ownership
  17. This looks very interesting I would definitely come down.
  18. I know I said I wouldn't post again but I would like to say that I would have no problem saying the same thing to you in person. Being face to face with you doesn't change my opinion on the matter even though none of the insults were directed at you anyway apart from the snout comment if you call it an insult.
  19. Wow I must have missed the point where owning a supra meant you had to drive like the corsa crew. Maybe because I know people that have died because of people like you who think because you have racked up some hours on forza that you are a driving god. Unfortunately the idiots like you who cause accidents tend to survive and end up maiming or killing innocent by standers. Ones of the guys at my dads work is still off because he is having nightmares. He and a few mates were in two cars the first car sped off and when he caught up with him the first car was on its roof and his other friend who had been in the passenger seat but wasn't wearing a seat belt was in in bits across the road, when the car had rolled he had been half out the window losing a leg and an arm before bleeding out in the middle of the road. The driver who had lost it going to fast had some slight injuries. I am not commenting anymore on this thread as obviously im not with the "in" crowd.
  20. clever.... On a motorway its not so bad but he stated he is doing it on back roads I'm guessing I can count your brain cells without using my toes ... So because I don't drive at well above the speed limit I should drive a prius ? If you have nothing useful to say then it is probably better not to stick your snout in
  21. Lets hope when you crash you only kill yourself. 110MPH on public roads !! You are a complete toss pot
  22. My garage is 4.7 Metres long and 1.9 Metres wide, well its wider but there are work benches at the back and to the left. As they are forecasting another bad winter I think I am going to try and squeeze it in and put some thought into how I will get out when its in Thankfully there is a side patio door on the side on the garage so will see how things go.
