    Supra in the snow

I paid less than 300 for the astra so I can cope with losing it should some nutter lose it and crash into me. Plus the biggy for me is the salt, I left the supra on the drive last year and got a lift to work in my step mums Lexus rx300 4x4.
  2. Sounds like a great bit of kit, its like a black box for your car. Is it solely a video camera of does it record say speed or g's etc
  3. Oi stop stealing our UK specs

    Supra in the snow

Good call on the coilovers, I went past a audi s8 which was lauching a tidal wave of snow everywhere with his chin spoiler.
  5. I wish I had a supra that looked liked mitchells, went like JP's, sounds like Ryans TT V8 and I wish I had a post count like Josh.
  6. Is it not also poisonous in large amounts such as in the confines of a garage?

    Supra in the snow

I took the supra to work in January after the snow had cleared but during my shift it had snowed again. It was only a couple of cm but it was the most fun I have had driving home ever As long as you don't drive like a plonker you should be fine. Simple things like building up momentum before an incline as opposed to when your on it will save you a world of hassle. That was on standard wheels and standard tyre sizes (not winter tyres).
  8. Happy birthday chap hope you had a good one
  9. Its a lovely car but the market is crap at the moment. I wish him all the best.
  10. Did you take any photos on the way back?
  11. I'm glad it will live to fight another day !! A better picture is required in the morning please
  12. Nice car, this has been for sale on piston heads for quite a while. It use to belong to mark uk manual Mark's garage http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=2394
  13. It is definitely a credit to you Hodge, its brilliant.
  14. We have similar dreams
  15. it will only work on old cars though as new ones have more complex fuel injection systems and it ruins them, you can only run pump bio diesel with them.
  16. I'd choose condition over mileage anyway as over such a long period of time it is more than likely most of the "low mileage" ones have been clocked at some point in their lives. I'd rather have one with a 100K on that was in immaculate condition than a shabby one with 50k on as these cars need looking after like royalty

    Help!

Take a picture of the dashboard with the light in question and describe as best you can exactly what the car is doing. The more info you can give us the better the chance we can help solve the problem. I am also in chesterfield, I use Brimington test center for all my cars as my dads mate owns the garage and he is a great mechanic but he hasn't worked on Supras before (apart from mine)but he will give it a look over and help if he can.
