They are normal 3 point seat belts in the back where are you seeing lap belts? The seats will be completely useless that's why they didn't put them there in the first place.

It is carbonised diesel, try and clear what you can. To get it off you need a solvent which one is up to you I have heard some use nitromoors, coca cola. You will need to reseat all the injectors as well, like you said this is a fairly common problem called black death. There is loads of info on the net about it.

Your going to eat you current gearbox? That's a bit extreme isn't it. As for the 6 speed box people call it notchy and crude but I think the changes make it feel solid. Apart from a rattly flywheel I don't think I can fault the box but I haven't used it anger on a track so can't comment on that. Miss shift and it is going to get very expensive, it will more than likely be cheaper to get a replacement box than to fix the one you lunched as has been said they are fiddley to work on. If you muller a gear hope its fifth as this is the easiest to get to as the getrag is a four speed box with 5 and 6 bolted on to it.

I think you have hit the nail on the head with the ice bit. Snow isn't the problem its the ice underneath that's going to be your worst nightmare in any car. That's unless you have studded tyres

As a lot of you including myself will be tucking the supra up for the winter I was thinking we should have one last meet while the weather is still nice? When would be best for people? I am free all next week so any time is good for me. Meeting will be usual place FF near big Tesco in Chesterfield.
