It's great to see meets happening again, when I can actually get my car off my street which has ridiculous temporary ramps on it, I will be attending some!

This is the kind of car you want if civilisation goes down hill or if there is a zombie apocalypse, these things run forever if looked after.

I agree and disagree In terms of out and out pace, completely agree with you there. Merc are looking at the bigger picture and the future with the significant changes coming in 2022, focusing their development there. Whilst RB are having a good season this year, expect them to be back to second best next year when they are behind the game in terms of development for the new cars. The difference in pace is huge compared to the previous year, anyone who thinks that Merc are bluffing is only kidding themselves, 1 years development does not give you that much pace advantage over a car that has been easily dominant the entire turbo hybrid era. Where I disagree with you is that this is a team sport, having 2 drivers working together at the front has proven time and again a winning formula. Perez is good, but he makes mistakes, so does Bottas but he is a better driver and Merc can bring strategy into winning the race removing the pace deficit. Perfect example is Silverstone, if Bottas hadn't of played the team game it would have been an easy with for Ferrari.

Just a bump on this, still looking for someone who's owned it from new. Got to be someone out there!

Refurbishment and innovative solutions will be the way forward for keeping these cars on the road. Toyota have been quite clear that they have no ambition or plans to support heritage cars in a meaningful way.

Unless the legislation changes then yes, it's a rolling 40 year date. At some point though it will stop though, some streets in London are already electric cars only at peak times but expect this to spread and time periods to increase.

Racing incident for me, both could have done more to avoid a crash. But the first half lap of that race is the most exciting thing we have seen all season, if they start clamping down on wheel to wheel racing it will just get boring again. We obviously don't want crashes and people getting injured but it's motorsport so there is always going to be contact and accidents.
