My step mum halved my quote, if I were you I'd take your dad off as having testes is big no no for insurance companies ! Mines on a multicar policy 3000 miles a year, on drive in a nice area and has a tracker fitted. I also got them to mirror my no claims onto my second car

Auto is not better than the manual and the manual is not better than the auto end of. Its all down to preference, drive both and make a decision its as simple as that. Each have their pro's and con's neither is a flawless gearbox.

Simply put the Supra was designed as a GT and not and full on sports car which is why nearly 60 plus percent UK's were sold with the OPTIONAL auto gearbox which was EXTRA. The reason they didn't continue when they face lifted it after talking to some helpful people at Toyota was down to the fact they only sold 628 in 3 years. Conforming it to the new regulations wouldn't have been that costly at all in fact it would have cost them nothing as the regulations in the states are a lot more strict than ours, they sold supras in the states up until 1998.

This is a tragic end for such a great car. Pity you couldn't sell it as a whole to a new home.

It all depends of the quality you want. The saying you get what you pay for springs to mind. I would have thought 200 pounds wouldn't be far off the mark.
