I see loads of people with all different gauges but apart from a boost gauge I doubt most people know what is a bad reading or even check them at all. Who here can honestly tell me they check (more than once or twice) their gauges and actually know what a bad reading is and when they should stop? I know there will some but I can't help feeling people just get them for show and have no clue what they are showing or check them. Discuss.

Yes but if you leave it ticking over for 5 or so minutes the engine bay heat does it anyway. When you put the rear screen heater on it activates the wing mirror and washer jet heaters too.

I am sure the chemical comes in neat as its mixed in the jet wash itself, maybe the machine wasn't mixing right and the solution was too strong but you would have to get samples and test the mixture strength. If you can prove the machine was at fault you might have a leg to stand on.

It might be genuine as its coming up to winter and the first thing you will want to do is clear the windscreen plus make sure the washer jets are working as there will be loads of slush and salt on the roads.

Maybe the other one was in the toilet or out but not likely! Always ask for the duty manager as that is your best hope of a resolution as they have to do something because its there arse on the line if a complaint goes to head office. Unfortunately there is a disclaimer saying that you use the wash at your own risk and that Morrisons won't liable for any damage caused. Could be some crap stuck between the disk and the pad.

I'd check: 1.Disc warped 2.Disc thickness (lip) 3.Pad thickness 4.Caliper seals 5.Bearing (not too sure how) I'm betting its caliper seals (bearings tend to last a very long time) but its best to check the easy stuff first like discs and pads.
