1000 mile trip so worst case scenario is 200 per tank and 100 each time to fill it with V Power (or similar). I don't know how you loony tunes drive so I am planning for the worst

I think 500 is a safe bet fuel wise depending on where you are coming from in the UK.

Exactly this, if you have ever looked at an old air filter they are full of dirt and rubbish. If you remove the filter I think in the long run it will detremental to the engines health.

Yep thats right, its 50 quid for the app so a lot cheaper than buying an actual unit.

Maps are stored on the phone. But I think it needs a GPS signal.
